My favorite plane.
I used to live on the Corpus Christi NAS. The C5's would come and go often. When they took off it was truly amazing. I love that terrific whining sound the engines make. When the C5 takes off it looks like they are barely moving.

i saw one land in charleston, it looked stationary if you weren't watching closely. you have enough shit going on in a cessna, much less a c5!

The noise is great! It must have had a massive low pitched roar too - it seems quite difficult to pick that up on videos though.
