I remember the first time I saw this commercial on TV 40 years ago. It would be a tragic shame to dislike this commercial. This is STILL a great classic commercial.
Back when employees were paid enough to give a shit about cleanliness and you didn't have to worry about the kid with the tattoos down his arms spitting in your food.
.
I bet people would pay an extra 50 cents per burger to get a staff that wasn't dressed like a goth kid
i plan on one day making a mcdonalds like the 70's with singing commercials great employees and sanitary food and conditions. anyone who would like that give this comment a thumbs up.
Amazing...I remeber this commercial from when I was a kid...
Long BEFORE Ronald McDonald, when it was ALL Clean, English WAS the language used and they had people that gave a damn about customer/public relations....NOT like it usually is today......
dirty, what language is that spanglish? getto-ebonics?, and customer/public relations...LOL;...how about at least a Thank-you???
Has anybody seen the old christmas commerial with the following jingle. "Give a hamburger to someone you like, give a fry and a shake and make someone happy. Give a chesse burger or pie to your favorite girl or your favorite guy.
i have been looking for that song for years...did you find it?

Believe it or not, before chicken McNuggets came along the restaurants were actually sanitary and the attendants spoke English, Not Spanish or Ebonics!
That's just sad. I bet chickens had a painless death back then too (based on PETA accounts)
And Ronald McDonald was in the lowest pit of hell (McDonaldLand, which is at least a mile beneath Tartarus) where he belonged, not being a pedophile like he is now.
Kind of funny that John Amos did this McDonalds commercial and then in the movie Coming to America he played the owner of the McDowells which was a copy of McDonalds.
lol I recognize this tune... look up "Cheech & Chong - McDoobies".

@45gunner
You can have a cheap, minimum wage staff or you can have a decent staff that speaks english and cleans the place. You can't have both
