In the world of today the name Banana Republic is given to the countries or estates which have just Puppet Governments which can just be crushed or turned like a banana in any direction. Why does this situation arise? Authority Tends To Corrupt and Absolute Authority Corrupts absolutely. If any powerful country tries to imposes its law or strength on Banana Republic it just crushes like a banana and can't repel against any immoral act of that country.
