Mine does the same thing when I have to comb out her shed. She fusses, curls her lips back and shows her teeth, and looks like she's going to bite my arm off any minute, but she wouldn't hurt a fly. Love those Husky tantrums!

our Collie used to bear her teeth like that during grooming, but it was only when you groomed her in one spot. it was like an involuntary reaction with her. her tail was still wagging and seh was loving the grooming but whenever you got to her spot, the lips just curled back! lol

lol..your dog is like mine...when I brush him or pull of the fur gremlins, he gets grumpy. it's like they are emotionally attached to their fur! totally worth the fur around the house and car though! best dogs ever!

@BoojieKid Can't speak for all but my husky gets along with any dog that isn't outright attacking it. She's played with everything from a Shepard twice her size to an 8 lb chihuahua. They tend to be social animals.

Actually huskies don't bark as much as many other breeds. They do love to talk however. If you know what you are doing they are one of the best dogs you could ever have. They do require a lot of exercise, brushing and lots of love. They own you, you do not own them.

This shouldn't put you off .... Perhaps the constant play fighting, destroying stuff, dragging you down the street, snuggling up to you while you try to sleep, howling when its food time ... but they are always forgiven when you get "the look" ;)

@CartoonTVClassics Not entirely true. I've had my husky for 2 years and I've always loved her to death. I've never got 'sick' of her. As long as you know how to work with a husky, you will have an amazing dog. Just takes a lot of dedication and love.

ahhh yes I remember those days with my amazing girl Julia who passed away 2 years ago. I used to make piles of her fur, i picked it off too as it came out in chunks. Boy was she gorgeous, so special enjoy ur huskies :)
