I like the last one, "She Works Hard For The Money" by Donna Summer.I have that song on my ipod too.I think it would be a great anthem for the WNBA.I also like "My Chick Bad" by Ludacris featuring Nicki Minaj, "Warrior" by Patty Smyth, "American Woman" by Lenny Kravitz,"Tell Me Something Good" by Chaka Khan, and "Deeper Love" by Aretha Franklin as WNBA theme song choices.

I agree, Alicia Keys "Superwoman" is a great song. I'm in no way wanting to replace it. I was just having fun with some other songs I thought were cool. So you think my songs are "wack"...got any better suggestions? :-)

Every year since the WNBA was founded, people like you say the same thing; the WNBA will fold. 13 years later, it still stands, and is just as strong as the NBA. Don't believe me? You might want to ask David Stern, head of the NBA about that: "The NBA is far less profitable than the WNBA," he said. We're losing a lot of money amongst a large number of teams. We're budgeting the WNBA to break even this year." Nuff said.

honestly, I disagree! I think the WNBA is doing pretty good, Candace Parker & many other players are making a lot of people attract to the game! You'd be suprised how many people attend a wnba game! trust me, I live in a city that has a wnba team! I have a picture of the crowd at the silver stars-sparks game! so you have no idea how popular the wnba is. You just never give a chance!

Raffles, drawings, lottery, gameshows or whatever else you want to call it is how these people get their tickets. The only real "fans" that come are feminists. The names don't help that much either. I mean, The Chicago Sky? Isn't Chicago the Windy City? And where the hell is the Sun in Conneticut? They should have put more thought into making up names. Last year, the season ticket holder who sat next to me was a father who regularly brought his teenage children to the games. I doubt he was a feminist. Oh, btw - the Connecticut Sun is named after the Mohegan Sun - the Indian tribe that bought the team from Orlando...and oh yes, the Chicago "Wind" sounds so much better than "Sky". Before you take a stab at the WNBA, educate yourself a little, would you please?
