Hal was insane/dead during this time guys. Kyle was the only green lantern at the time.

I guess DC wanted to give Kyle his time to shine, which is fine to me. I love Hal...but if Hal is a active green lantern during any story arc, the media gives me all the attention and cuts out just about everybody else. So to me, it was nice Kyle and John got some time during the 90's when Hal wasn't there.

But fuck it! Seeing any Green Lantern gets some attention is okay in my book.

Look, everybody knows that very little that happened in the DCAU is the same as comic canon, so things are going to be different. If you really want to argue, Hal Jordan is also wrong and it should be Alan Scott who is the green lantern. Unless you are referring to the fact that Sur is on earth rather than the last surviving guardian; then yes, I agree - this is wrong.

@ted050706 The Guardians can only spread the Green Element so thin. It took Blackest Night to duplicate the rings which only worked for a day. They only made 3600 rings, which was the limit of the power that could be stretched out. One per sector of known space. All the elements are like that. That's not to say a GL can wear other Lantern rings. Hal alongside his GL ring has worn a Red (rage), Orange (Avarice), and Blue (Hope) rings in the past in conjunction with his own Green ring (Will)

@ted050706 They can do anything through will, except go past their own element: Hard light. A Lantern's ring is merely light, which is a form of energy, that can solidify or smoothen depending on what is needed. Hypnosis is a mindfuck created by lights and sounds, which the Lantern ring can provide as needed. As for reanimating the dead, yeah, it can reconnect synapses in the brain to the body and control it as per their wishes, as well as just pick up a rock and toss it or changs its look.

1. They (DC) tried to put in too much about GL. Dinosaur size too big into too little of a time frame for the shoe. (shoe box size)
