Im pretty sure that 90% of the people bashing this game just cant handle the challenging physics & havent got the patience to practice & practice ,and are just use to DIRT type arcade games,

and the other 10% are just gaming rally anoraks, that arent happy unless its at the same lev sim as RBR

The majority of people who like rally and want a rally game will love this game,

if you enjoyed previous WRC games then you'll enjoy this for sure.

Milestone get the WRC drivers to test it after they made it instead of using their brains and getting a WRC driver in on the development of the game in the early stages, Such a sad bunch of wannabe's... The game is wicked , i bought it and am totally loving it , im having a blast on it .

There is nothing wrong with the hairpins , you just dont know what ur on about,

the hairpins in the jordan stage ARE hairpins, they just arent tight ones,

however there ARE plenty of other tracks and stages in the FULL GAME with very tight hairpins.

& id love a rally game that is that level of sim,

but unfortunatly rally isnt as popular at the moment as it was back then, so its a MASSIVE gambe to make one with that level of simulation in it , because you can see what people are like these days, to many people would rather blame a game than blame themselves and practice & practice until they get good.

So until we do get another RBR type rally game, im very happy with this in the mean time .

The way i see it is, if rally fans back this game then it can progress and it will pull in new rally fans, and then maybe we'll get a total sim again .

This game is very good though, it may not be as sim as RBR , which they didnt intend it to be, but its a very challenging and extremely fun rally game once you've gotten to grips with the handling.

And its extremely challenging on top difficulty when you do the gears yourself .

Very good game for Blackbeans first attempt. Cockpit, audio effects, replay angles need working on, but overall a solid game. Hope next years brings more improvements

,& if you are talking about the car engine sounds , all the other cars sound different

the peugeot has a proper beefy sounding engine, same with subaru, even the focus and citron sound decent if you wear headphones.

People are being too harsh on this game, & many rally fans are gonna miss out on a good rally game because of all these premature judgements from a 5 min go on a old demo

DON'T BUY THIS GAME ! ! !

The gearbox doesn't allways downshift as it should when you slowdown, so even if you have not chosen manual gears, you sometimes have to do it anyway.

All scenery and obstacels, other than small scrubs and bushes are completely indestructable, and even the smallest tree or wooden fence makes the car come to a complete standstill from 150 km/h in no time at all, and you have to back upp and start from zero again.

Fences Etc DO break, you can smash straight through a fence and end up with wood on ur bonnet, even metal barriers dint when you crash into them, & things only stop you if you hit them dead on, except fences, fences you can smash through if ur going fast enough, unless youre at a certain angle then the fence WILL stop you but not without trashing a section of the fence, sign posts can be knocked down to

The codriver sometimes gives instructions waaaay to late. Instructions too long, that when you get to hear the end of it, you have passed it a looong time ago. The end of the message is sometimes very important, like " bla, bla, bla ONTO ICE!" That last bit could have been good to know in advance.

Allso, the codriver shouts useless shit in your ear for no reason, like: "-Are you ok?" when you scrape a wall of snow or something. And sometimes it makes totaly false comments about your driving.

why dont you actually practice.

you havent even bothered to check the options, because if you had you would of noticed an option to change the pace of your co-drivers instructions, you can make them earlier if you choose.

You have to master the cars & tracks to get the full effect of this game,

just keep playing one stage over & over, then you'll know the track & THEN work on ur handling, & once you have that sorted, the fun begins.

This is the crapiest shit-game for a long long time!

WRC must be very dissappointed!

The steeringwheel is constantly twitching and moving back and forth even when you dont touch the controls... like in an old hollywood movie.

The car-physics is all messed up. Sometimes, when you drive ALONG a smoth surfaced obsacle, like a wall or house or fence, if you touch it, the car comes to a complete standstill and you have to back up and start over.

the ONLY time they will stop you is if the front of your car rams into them at at the sort of angle that it cant bounce off, more like you just suck at driving so ur blaming the game instead of practicing.

And my stearingwheel doesnt twitch back N too , well not unless im making it do it to control a slide Etc, it may twitch a microscopic amount, but you ARE driving off road, and thats what happens.

One thing i must comment on. I know the game is in early build, but i was just watching the simHQ vid from E3 and i noticed something very bad!!!! The driver went of the road and hit that orange tape they put in rallies, and well the car just bounced of like it was a wall. C'mon even richard burns rally, which is canny old didnt have that. Really needs to be sorted before realise i think!!

Just buy the rights to the RBR physics engine please. All we want is RBR with up to date cars graphics etc. If your making an arcade rally game your just going to lose out to Dirt 2. A sim with the option of driving aids for casual gamers is clearly your best option. From this video the graphics look very dated so if you dont have good physics you've got nothing!

@devxc Their SBK games is very much simulation, The same carnt be said for their car racing games, Both V8 superstars are seemingly using the same physics, GFX and everything you can think of as the SBK games so it just dont feel right. So basically they aint got the physics right with car racing so carnt see much hope with this. Guarantee it will feel as twitchy as an old granny`s curtain. Thats the problem with getting a good sim on the console, Every developer likes twitchiness.
