  • @mckavitt, please, can we know more? Can you post what you know? Please, this is passing out of mind, out of history.

  • Whoever said they adore her, i second that! I went often to hear her and knew her a bit personally (visisted her in Barcelona...). I love Gerald Moore too, whom i did not have the good fortune to know, except by his marvelous accompaniments and books. But just to add a bit of spice, ever hear Victoria sing these songs accompanied by the composer Gonzalo Soriano? A feast!

  • @mckavitt , come on, if you have any kind of recording of this, post it.

  • @pslogge Firstly, i don't know HOW to post. Secondly and alas, i lost my entire collection of Victoria LPs (a long story), and am searching for all those accompanied by Soriano because there is a density there that she doesn't quite achieve (or was not inspired to achieve) with our beloved Gerald Moore who, no matter how wonderful, was not Spanish, though when he accompanied Victoria he probably wished he were!

  • Στοιχειωνει και υπνωτιζει αυτο το τραγουδι!

  • Que inspiradora interpretación!!!!

  • wow, this is absolutely amazing.

    I LOVE IT

  • Você me apresentou a Vic de los Angeles já faz algum tempo - obrigado. Esta canção é super, realmente linda.

  • Great art of the composer and both artists who are interpreting this number.

A touch of Old Spain - so alluring...-

  • Oh, the last seconds missing, what a pity, otherwise it would have been another *perfect* video, thanks anyway!

  • i do not have the score , dear pianopera, but there is no missing recorded music, at least .You got me worried because this is my favourite tonadilla.

  • Well, what I meant was that the final chord of the piano (wonderfully played by Gerald Moore) is broken off abruptly...I know because i have this recording, too, and it is also my favourite tonadilla!

  • Thank you Pslogge!!

This song is so touching, it pierces right through all my senses. What you say, I agree, it's one of the most beautiful Tonadillas.
