Well its not. Music and song is Suleiman Aga... or Suleimanovo.
Stankena, or may i correct you Stani Anke or Stankino is a different tune.
You have raised a big issue here. All those 11/8 rythm dances of Pella area are named after their song and not neceserely are danced differenlty. To set an example, we have dance syrto and hundreads of songs.. in this case.. you have a rythm (11/8) that has no title and several tunes and song to go with.
Most songs i heard from Fyrom artists are actually from immigrants of the area.. 11/8 rythm is typicall of Pella, Kilkis and Thessaloniki area in Macedonia, Greece

Stani Anke or Stankena or Stankino is song from Pella Area, West-Central Macedonia, Greece. Same tune though can be found in Vlach bridal song too.

Sorry,I'm from Rep. of Macedonia.
"Stani Anka" is obviously a dance of slavophonic Macedonians.
It means "Get up,Anka".
There is lot of music with 11/8 rhythms, quite typical for the whole region of Macedonia-north or south.

Stani Anke is indeed in slav...
It goes like...
Stani anke, stani kerko
S'lanceto izgreva
S'lanceto izgreva kerko
Svatove ki dojdat
Svatove ki dojdat kerko
Tebe da ti zemat.

hmm,maybe you're right.i should check that.
a lot of this kind of music comes from the refugees, but i think it is also present in the south parts of republic of macedonia.

Surely todays bordering areas share common tradition.
That applies to all countries of the world...
Just remembered one song from Bitola-Monastir area...
"Aber mi ide od Mogila"
