after Chris and Jill destroyed TALOS at an Umbrella building in Russia, thats how Umbrella got finished I think... play the Umbrella Chronicles on Wii to find out
New and more dangerous viruses, what they can do whatever previous viruses did not or "cannot" do, new "interesting" enemies and so on.
At the least RE: Damnation is being "true" to the series as we get to see Lickers. But I would not be surprised if any enemies from RE4 and/or RE5 make their appearances.
Going to be 21 soon. "Far more matured" than you and many more others in terms of "criticizing" great games like Resident Evil (especially 4 and 5) and the eventually will come Revelations.
Anyway, bottomline is, RE4 is what I think it is: AWESOME.

That IS what Resident Evil/Biohazard is truly all about. You have years before you could reach my level in understanding the true meaning of RE/Bio.
You're trying to say you find no horror in a chainsaw maniac wanting to saw off your head? No horror in a lake monster going to eat you up? No horror in giants attempting to try to get you in their hands to crush you?
In short, you find no horrors in things like those, be it in games or reality?
Heck, you need lots of action too. Shooting is not enough. You also need to punch and kick. Common sense in reality if you have no ammo.
Again, as long as you are facing monsters, zombies, zombie dogs, tyrants, parasite infected people and many more, that is nothing but survival, horror and so on. That is what Resident Evil is about. The word "Biohazard" means Virus and Virus means mutation and mutation not only means zombies. It means A LOT more than zombies. That IS what Resident Evil/Biohazard is all about. Survival Horror. NOT pure horror.
@khfreakIII I tihnk its kind of the fault of the first games haha. Peopel didnt really see past the zombies so now if people think of resident evil what immediately comes in mind is ofcourse zombies. But your right thats not what resident evil is about but its what people are used to i guess and its what made it fun for them, the zombies. Butnow capcom is staying true to the "biohazard"/"Mutation" thing,leaving zombies behind, people feel like its not resident evil anymore but it still reallyis.

Those who don't like or feel disappointed with RE4 or RE5 and the upcoming RE games or so truly do not understand the true meaning of virus.
Virus will NOT only turn one into zombies and if it is just zombies which would mean it becomes boring and cliche so that is when Las Plagas (Spanish) and Uroboros (Swahili) come into play. New Viruses equals new experiences and adventures equals new stories and of course, "so called" RE/Biohazard Fans. "True" fans will not complain too much if not at all.
Then you all are losing out, behind of times or in the old folks period. The story is superb to me because all those chainsaw avoiding, giant killing, sea monster thrashing and many more are what I like most.
RE is not (only) about horror. It is about survival and rescuing no matter how bad or dumb the story is which I don't find them bad or dumb at all. Those who fail to see the true meaning will never get to enjoy or feel entertained without complaining.

I hope Leon & Claire would be together again for either Resident Evil: Portable or Resident Evil 6.
Or maybe an "Official Ada Wong" game where she is the main character like Claire and Jill were in RE2 & RE3 respectively although we get to also control Leon (Chris & Steve in Code: Veronica) & Carlos respectively.
Revelations involves Chris and Jill, set some time before RE: Lost in Nightmares, RE: Damnation and RE5.
I am not sure whether the prisoner is Chris (due to camera tricks or whatever tricks) or HUNK unmasked or even a completely different person. Revelations is before RE5 because Chris does not really look muscular.
@97Wc Because RE5 was like a Bad Indiana jones film, very bad plot, bad/boring enemies, very boring gameplay, you spend most of your time pillaging treasure from African's. Even the music was pretty nothingy, and Resident evil always had good music.

I prefer the older games, RE5 wasn't survival horror in the slightest, it was a bad Indiana Jones film at best, it wasn't challenging, it wasn't interesting, it murdered the series. Thankfully those responsible for it will not be involved in RE6, as Capcom agrees.

@apple1zz Haha, yeah! Since they're going to reboot the series, there will most likely be all new characters. I do believe that Sheva will still be in it as she's only 23 years old. I honestly think that RE5 was Jill and Chris's last RE appearance.

Nintendo signed with Capcom that the GC would get 2 EXCLUSIVE games for its console. It got RE0 and then RE4 was going to be ONLY for GC. It was such a success that Capcom decided to break the agreement nad made a port for PS2 with some extras.
Probably but i'm not certain about his age in RE4 since I never really knew how old he was in RE4 but my guess is that he was PROBABLY above 20 obviously. :P

Nobody can full a fucking play out of their ass for something that random and unfair. Ever take on a tank on expert while 1 guy has a soker on him, another with a hunter and another guy has been blinded by boomer bile?

Overall L4D fails tremendously since the fucking difficulties aren't even done right. Easy is easy, normal is still easy and advanced ain't too challenging even on 1 player, but expert is like leagues ahead in difficulty when compared to advanced.
If a game is practically unplayable on harder modes when you play by yourself, it is broken. That is why RE5 is leagues better than L4D on multiplayer

Campaign mode is 4 real players versus hordes of adaptive-A.I. controlled bots (so each game is different, and different monsters spawn everywhere). Versus mode has 4 human player with computer controlled normal zombies and player controlled special zombies.
It kicks ass, and last weekend it was only $25 on steam.
This game was not bad,but it could have used some better music and themes.OH and whatever you do,dont shoot the regenerator in the legs!!! Use granades or run!
i think, the whole RE4 is actually kinda like a trailer. I think, THINK, that wesker is gonna start a new umbrella, based on parasitic traits, as we all seen wesker trying to retrieve a sample. I dont know but its just a opinion.
I love the way they reuse clips from the previous games, and the fact the reused clips from Resident Evil 3: Nemesis have been used in a way as to make them look more realistic, compared to the dated FMVs of the late 1990s.

This game is like the 'Golden Eye" of the gamecube generation.
Every game copied Golden Eye to copy FPS on consoles.
Then RE4 came thru and showed every developer a different way to make TPS.
A game that defined a whole generation of new games.

@apple1zz Haha, yeah! Since they're going to reboot the series, there will most likely be all new characters. I do believe that Sheva will still be in it as she's only 23 years old. I honestly think that RE5 was Jill and Chris's last RE appearance.

Is it wrong that even though this one doesn't have zombies, 4 is my favorite? XD I like messing with Ashley, me and my sister used to take turns harassing her on our game. Needless to say it took us a while to advance in the story...^_^;

Nintendo signed with Capcom that the GC would get 2 EXCLUSIVE games for its console. It got RE0 and then RE4 was going to be ONLY for GC. It was such a success that Capcom decided to break the agreement nad made a port for PS2 with some extras.

L4D was crap b/c of BS Director having his period moments layered on top of each other. Now, L4D is worthless in regards to expert b/c of the stupid update that nerfed the melee.
RE4 and 5 are better.

In addition to being completely void of melee weapons(something that part 2 has decided to address), having dumb AI for both infected and survivors and being overall being fairly ridiculous when it comes to the timing of events.

Boom simultaneous attack by every special infected and a swarming by the horde. Wow BS...and don't even tell me that it relies on my skill. Nobody can full a fucking play out of their ass for something that random and unfair. Ever take on a tank on expert while 1 guy has a soker on him, another with a hunter and another guy has been blinded by boomer bile?
I take back my comment on nerfed melee as that only applies to Survival and Versus(still gay)

Overall L4D fails tremendously since the fucking difficulties aren't even done right. Easy is easy, normal is still easy and advanced ain't too challenging even on 1 player, but expert is like leagues ahead in difficulty when compared to advanced.
If a game is practically unplayable on harder modes when you play by yourself, it is broken. That is why RE5 is leagues better than L4D on multiplayer

Campaign mode is 4 real players versus hordes of adaptive-A.I. controlled bots (so each game is different, and different monsters spawn everywhere). Versus mode has 4 human player with computer controlled normal zombies and player controlled special zombies.
It kicks ass, and last weekend it was only $25 on steam.

i think, the whole RE4 is actually kinda like a trailer. I think, THINK, that wesker is gonna start a new umbrella, based on parasitic traits, as we all seen wesker trying to retrieve a sample. I dont know but its just a opinion.

I love the way they reuse clips from the previous games, and the fact the reused clips from Resident Evil 3: Nemesis have been used in a way as to make them look more realistic, compared to the dated FMVs of the late 1990s.
