tearikii why do you bother to comment when your argument is so stupid.. your saying that is a waste of money when chinooks and blackhawkes cost more to purchase let alone the running costs, then what would we do with them?? incase you didn't realized big bombs and destruction isn't really the role we play in the world.. chinooks cost a metric shit too run so we would end up not using them to there full potential because the defense force doesn't have that sort of money to waste..
@pramboy09 Ohh,I see.......well,to be honest: I don`t like the NH90;-) it looks awful,it still got technical problems (and hey,I am from Germany,it is our product -sort of- but I am not proud of it)..............so,what older type of helicopter is replaced by the A109 in the RNZAF?
@CPfromGermany we will see, the new zealand airforce are good at improving what they have, the augusta is replacing our ancient bell suiox we have had for decades.

Ok,meabe I should say: The worlds` first serial build helicopter -or the forefather of all modern helicopters- replaced by the worlds`most elegant helicopter..............!
