Stick tricks can visually enhance a piece massively... as long as it doesn't affect the playing. Try mastering the songs timing with stick tricks before posting it next time :)

The stick tricks..I don't think you should stop doing it completely lol I think it's good to do some tricks when it comes to putting on a show in a band, or drum solos. Gives the people more entertainment, buuut I wouldn't do it That much.

I would rather a drummer not be preoccupied with expressions of vanity like stick spinning or choreography. While I can appreciate that it is difficult to perform and takes a lot of dedication to perfect, it has no place in the avenue of true musical expression. That kind of behaviour belongs at the circus, not the bandstand of a serious musician trying to say something genuine with their music.
