People in this small sc 2 forum I go to mentioned that Pro-players usually like to "CONSERVE" their strategies and play styles to the point that it seem "Uncharacteristic" or even "Careless" for show tournaments or smaller tournaments.
Do you think it's the reason why MVP was a bit "Uncharacteristic" in this match?
I think so, but I still like to know your opinion about this.
I'm sorry but, as someone else pointed out, MVP could have easily won the game with those 12 hellions. The only risk was the zerg playing hiding a crapload of units in his main instead of defending his natural for some reason, and a scan could have taken care of that. Sometimes, when you're ahead you should just kill your opponent.
That seemed like a dumb decision from MVP by running away when his base was getting wrecked. There were only 5-8 roaches in his main, and since he is terran he could have just lifted off if he really needed to get out. The zerg had nothing to defend besides the couple of banelings and units that he made that barely killed the 1 tank and 8 marines. If MVP had just gone for a base race, he would have won in significant amounts.

why didnt MVP just kill him with his big ass army instead of backing up? because even though he backed, he still lost almost all his workers...
