Capo on the 4th fret. The first chord is definately a Cmajor flat, then a G, then something I can't define, then a Eminor and then a Cmajor flat. He plays it two times and after that he plays a G and starts singing. That's the intro I think?
Crooked Roof is in the key of B major. The chords are basically just B, E flat minor, A flat minor, and E, rearranging them from the verse to the chorus. There's a D flat minor in the chorus and bridge, but I'm sure you can figure out where they go if you have a good ear. Hope this helps some!
What I can see from the vid is it is capo'd at the 4th fret, and he is only playing the lower strings, making it hard to tell from his fingers. One of the chords is G, but he only fingers the top two strings. One chord *might* be Am. Anyone actually know guitar enough to figure this out?
After listening again, I believe it must be Josh's brother, Zack singing backing vocals in the studio. Their voices blend so well. Still don't care for Emily's singing or playing.
After hearing the studio version, I assume this is the first time Emily had ever heard or played this song. Backing vocals are so much better on the studio version, and the piano player on it actually knows the song. Josh is so talented. Why did he waste this beautiful tune on Emily? I wonder if it was Aja singing on the album. I watch this video repeatedly, in spite of Emily, just to hear Josh's awesome voice and to feast my eyes on this gorgeous man.
wierd seeing peole without beards who usually have them. Like you had always imagined the bottom half of their face just beeing made of beard right to the core.
