@madFlam1 this is from the cd "my home is in the delta". for this session, fred was specifically asked to play the first and oldest songs he'd learned when he was still a youngster-so yep, you're right! (also, if i remember correctly, he doesn't use bottleneck on any of the songs from this session)
think it's all from one great recording sesion called live at the mayfair hotel... fantastic accoustic stuff and songs he recorded only the once, he steadily gets drunker too like when he does "bulldog blues" and "brooks run into the ocean"
