cosa dire....? quando la musica provoca emozioni così forti, le parole sono sempre inadeguate...l'uica cosa da fare è fermarsi...ed ascoltare con l'anima...sino all'ultima nota..che non vorresti arrivasse mai...
Indescribable, as is the rest of the album. If this presses your buttons, also check out 'Steal Away', a collaboration between Charlie Hayden and Hank Jones. It makes you glad to be alive.
I cried while listening to this. I have never had any opinion on Jazz until listening to this beautiful song, but now I'm afraid I might turn into a Jazz Hipster. This song is a beautiful work of art crafted by a true master. I don't know how anyone could dislike this, but those who do are depriving themselves of amazing music.

This album is all about the american musical experience,i loved when i first heard and i love it now. Thanks for the music it changed my life. Ivan Rane
Now I feel depressed because of troubles around me. This reminds me of something precious in the past beautiful memories -- alongside this piece. Thank you.
the most impressive on this song is that everybody listen to it im just 16 years old when my father showed me this song the first time i keep listening to it its just awesome !
i first heard this song in my jazz history class at my high school and i never listen to this kind of music but this just makes me so calm and open's up my mind so i can think i just love this song thnx for the post :)
I have been a fan of Pat Metheney for many years. I recently bought this CD,and I listen to it constantly, one of my favorites, especially this song by Jim Webb. Thank you for posting this video.
beyond the missouri sky is a special album, i have acquired alot of pat metheny music over the past few years and always kind of passed up this album then turned to it one day and it has become my favorite i still love his other stuff and how neat this was cut with charlie its actually under charlies name which is appropriate love to get a gold disc of it or special issue of some kind
One of my all time Pat favorites...LOVE THIS SONG. I could listen to this entire album, non-stop, all day...I wish it could be the background noise of the world, that way, where ever I go, I could here it playing.
The best song from the best album I've ever heard. I'm with Stashita: There has never been a time, nor a place that this disc did not sound good or soothe the soul on a crowded commute home after a 14 hour day. Thank You Pat and Charlie for this gift.
Una de mis preferidas junto con The first song.

Jimmy Webb is God. He is one of the most important American composers / artists. So is Charlie Haden. Pat has a heart as well.

"I wish it could be the background noise of the world"
...probably the best expression of how this album makes me feel that I've ever read.
I own a good number of Metheny's Cd's but since I bought "Missouri Sky", I've played it at least as much as his other 15 discs combined.
