In my art class we played a bunch of songs along with their remakes and judged which was better. This is the only song that was better than the remake. (although Bob Segar did his version live and it was never recorded in a studio) Props to Segar for being such a great performer.

@MrKancode your art class has good taste - the version of this song on Live Bullet is one of the best live recordings ever - and made Alto Reed famous. Just a bit of trivia if you are interested - Seger DID do a studio version of Turn the Page - on an old album titled "Back in 72". You never hear it because it pales in comparison to the live version.
