We don't witness or share our faith because we know that "The Lord has commanded that those who preach the gospel shall make their living of the gospel" (1 Cor. :14). Evangelism is the clergyman's job, and I just proved it!!! Additonally, you can't be a witness unless you've witnessed the resurrection, which none of us have. The term witness in the Bible refers to those who had seen the resurrection. It does not applay to us.

The context of this is when Jesus is sending them out to labor in the harvest field. Anybody who is doing anything in the Bible is getting at least bed and board for their work, and there is not a single example of anyone either getting saved or hearing the gospel through personal evangelism to be found in the Bible.

You are partially right, however your logic is faulty. Yes, it is not our job to convict a person's heart. That is the job of the Holy Spirit. And yes, a person has a choice of whether they will listen and believe. However, we do have a responsibility to share/explain/tell what we believe. That is our job.
