Funny thing is beagles are ALWAYS sniffing the ground. When they do it indoors I always call it "hoovering" after the vacuum cleaners because it sure looks like they are cleaning the rug with their nose.

@beagler45 you don't have to hunt to have a beagle. My beagle tried nurturing a baby rabbit I had brought in once. I stuck it to his face and all he did was lick it with these big doe eyes.
