7:17 "People trust insurance companies more than they trust this federal government." I'll take my chances with any government over any insurance company.
This whole "across state lines" argument is SUCH bullshit.
If that were the case, then states would race to the bottom to have the most favorable regime for insurers. Then all insurers would relocate all of their operations there, and you'd only have ONE option.
Why do you think so many corporations are chartered in Delaware?
You people must stop attacking each other and stop believing that there is two parties. As long as you remain distracted fighting amongst yourselves you'll won't pay attention to what the power brokers are actually up to. What is really happening. right this moment. want to learn? see my channel.

What we need is a liberal party, I'm not calling for socialism but isn't the fact that virtually no one in government is advocating it telling? We don't have an honest discourse in this country where all options are considered, however briefly.
As it turns out the guy sitting on the ground has PhD from Cornell was a Nuclear Engineer and TAUGHT at the Univ. of Mich before he got Parkinson's. It seems like he was one of the people that built America during the 20th century. I love how they always bring up the 2000 page bill thing...um I had a 2000 page manual to manage a retail shop, I am pretty sure health care had more legal needs than that. And Canadian brain cancer lady is a fraud. Look it up, her Canadian doctor wouldn't bump her because she had a benign tumour that wasn't growing. She would have had her surgery in three months or less.
Interestingly, I heard the guy throwing the money apologized a couple of days later and said he lost his mind or something like that. That's the problem with the kind of evil Rhetoric the conservatives are spewing. It encourages a mob mentality that lemmings like him easily succumb to.
There are 3 things that can not long be hidden...the sun...the moon....and the truth! These heartless jerks and their message are becoming sickeningly apparent to everyone!! This makes me so angry!
they passed the bill, I'm so proud. Americans will find out it's not half bad, then tim phillips and all the other corporate stooges will eat a big dick.
I used to be somewhat open minded towards conservatives, and sometimes made excuses for them, because I have some close relatives who are conservatives but I finally realized that they REALLY ARE less compassionate people and tend strongly towards bullyism. Even some of my relatives, who I love dearly, REALLY are kind of heartless and prejudiced. It just makes me sick when they twist it around in their own minds and make it sound like good is bad and bad is good. (i.e. "Greed is good").
I've noticed that at "liberal" protests, they're almost always angry at somebody who's said vicious, vile things to them or about "underdog" groups". In other words, the conservatives almost always deserved the anger that the "liberals" have towards them.
Whereas "conservative" words are almost always against people like this guy with Parkinsons. To the "underdogs". In other words, conservatives are generally bullies and liberals are generally those who stick up for the bully's victims.
@FixedNewsChannel - yeah, that'd concern me more if the Dems actually gave a fuck about gay rights. We have a "fiercely pro-gay rights" president (self-described) who opposes gay marriage. How in the happy hell does he get away with that, and in what way is he better on the issue of gay rights than the repukes?
@FixedNewsChannel show me proof that the "n" word was used. don't give me some editorial from some anti-conservative nut. i want an un-edited true video tapping of the accident, since there was over 200 people video tapping the entire protest.
@bol316 Well, there certainly isn't proof that there is. Pretty amazing that no one caught one instance of racism, though, because over 100's of people brings cameras to the tea party rallies. Have you seen videos of the tea party? There's a video that shows interviews with African Americans saying that they aren't racist at all. So who are you going to listen to, The liberal media who's never stepped foot in a rally, or the people interviewed inside of one? Open your eyes, pal.
@FixedNewsChannel Did you ever hear of the Tea Partier that got his finger bitten off? This is politics, man, stop acting so high and mighty, like you party has spotless honor.
Chris Matthews is right. The people who don't want healthcare reform are people who have never been seriously ill and been forced to deal with corrupt private insurance companies that are in business to NOT help you when you need it. I hope every heckler gets stricken with cancer so they can know what it feels like to be dying and having insurance companies tell you what they will and won't cover!!
@alwaysguapo.... "let them eat cake" is the translation of what you spout. I have worked all my life.. always had health ins.. I just got dropped..along with quite a few coworkers. I was .78 of an hr average per week to qualify this yr.. Im actually out for the next two yrs.. can you reccommend a good private ins comp?? I say you reject any social security checks you get when you turn 65...whadda ya say big guy?
"Death Panels" are complete and utter bullshit and this guy knows it. I would have respected him a lot more if he just said-I don't want to pay for his healthcare.
Good point. I would have respected him more if he'd said, "I want to play all kinds of games with markets and banks and suck all of yours and his money out of your pockets and then not let you take "my" money to give it to the worthless wimps and rejects who can't be as clever and powerful and lucky as I am"
The large majority of conservatives heartless bullies. Even those who are just "low information voters" believe what they WANT to believe.
"30 Million People without healthcare" is a myth. Of that number 8-10 million of them are illegal aliens, another million or two have chosen not to have healthcare, and the rest cannot be denied care if they go into an emergency room. We all pay for that. The system needs to be fixed so that those people can afford care. But the answer is not to put the government incharge of our lives and to decide who lives or dies.
This comment has received too many negative votesshow
How convenient that a camera man just happened to be there!! I've seen liberal protests where activists go balistic and violent on conservatives with an opposing point of view. But the cameras never seem to be in the right place at the right time. Darn it !!
Tea Party protests are very polite and respectful compared to liberal protests. There's no argument or comparison.
HEY CHRIS, Since you still have a tingle in your leg for Obama... Allow me to give you a clue... The system we have now has major flaws in the form of uncontrolled costs. They need to be fixed so that every American can afford healthcare. Democrats are against fixing these flaws because they see a way to get millions of people dependent on the government. Look how well the goverment has run Social Security. That's the future of your healthcare and as a bonus your taxes go up immediately.
I used to be a Libertarian and believe some of their fantasies but now I realize we're all in this together and we've got to look out for each other and the government is THE WAY we do that!
It's not some bureaucratic, filthy rich, multi multi millionaire, who's motivated by greed that's going to decide what's best for me any more.
Our country needs to get over our selfish, bullying culture and start caring about each other a little! And caring about society. This is so shocking to me that there is even ONE American who would act like this it makes me cry!
Insurance companies are already deciding who and what illness is covered. I come from a family who has seen a lot of illness. He works gets NO help at all, the reason he has the job he has is for his insurance to cover his medicine. A few years ago he lost his house because he went into the hospital and the docs didn't ask the insurance company first to make sure his treatment was "approved" by them. Guess what? His insurance refused to cover. So he got screwed. And people support this why???
dressed for success, lol, and if they would have ran the whole clip they would have seen the crowd on the other side of the street that was in opposition. What is sad here is that these guys don't have the balls to wear there robes and hoods like they use to.
I hope that fucking low-life degenerate preppy with the white shirt, tie and sun-glasses gets a horrible, painful, debilitating illness and dies a slow, painful death!!!!!!!
heres irony, the messiah of the conservatives, ronald reagan, after he died, his wife nancy came out in support of embroy stem cell research, which proves the point that a conservative is a liberal who just got mugged and a liberal is a conservative who just got sick
That Teabagger's only example is ONE Canadian woman who got help in the US? We're over 30 Millions of people up here, with most of us, even though we recognize there are flaws in our health system, who would never let go of our Single Payer system. It serves every citizens, and is cost effective for most of the money goes for health, not in insurance companies' owners' and their lawyers' pockets.
My friend, I know exactly what you are talking about.
I've lived in Scotland 24 years and when Fox News wheels on one rebellious member of parliament to spew utter far-right lies about how the UK hates socialised medicine...it really bothers me.
The majority of people in the UK overwhelmingly support the NHS and if taken away from them, would beat down the door to 10 Downing street faster than anything.
Maybe the reason we the supporters of Obamas health care plan aren't in the streets screaming and yelling and making fools of ourselves like those idiots against the plan...is because we have jobs and lives and don't have the time or money to attend these events...we don't have the insurance companies paying us to make idiots of ourselves and wouldn't if they did pay us...we have decency and self respect....
They don't think their insurance companies aren't controlling their type of care?
the reason you don't see the people who want or need Pres. Obamas health care in the streets is because we're all busy working and making a living...we don't have big business paying for us to demonstrate.... also, most of us are not willing to make asses of ourselves by trying to shout down those idiots who oppose taking care of the less fortunate of America....but let some foreign country need help and they are all over it....
I'm so tired of hearing opponents to health care reform talk about the 2000 pages in the bill, as if the number pages alone is a valid argument against the bill.
Hahaha Chris Matthews absolutely trashed that douche.
The line of 'bureaucrats deciding what is covered' is a load of horse shit because right now INSURANCE COMPANY FAT CATS ARE THE ONES THAT DECIDE WHAT IS COVERED, LEAVING 30 MILLION PLUS PEOPLE UNINSURED. We NEED government intervention - insurance companies are actually WORKING AGAINST THE BENEFITS OF THEIR CUSTOMERS and working to DROP them and squeeze as much money as they can from them. They reported RECORD PROFITS for god's sake.
@Ultrasecond In that video? I think its every video and every thing they do, Do they actually stand for anything Besides bashing there President,? I say there because if they live in the USA, he is there President
What I don't understand is this: All these republicans number one complaint is that the bill is "2000 pages long". Well they why the hell if they aren't doing interviews, are they standing 10 thick behind a podium taking turns spouting stupidity. Shouldn't they be doing research or something??? They are complaining about a bill not only that they have NOT read but that they REFUSE to read.
As a side note, the selfish gene has been taken the wrong way so many times that Richard Dawkins made a follow-up called 'nice guys finish first' about how co-operation actually facilitates evolution.
The majority of these people are on Medicare. They are mostly over 65. They don't want the government to be involved in their healthcare. Working people are paying for their medicare. They are ugly, ugly people.
@supervegeta101 - hey, you look at the stocks for ins co's today. Go baby, go... you really think the ins co dont like this bill.. its made for them baby. Biy have you been fooled.
Nice, he referenced the woman with brain cancer, who didn't have cancer and decided to lie about her story. Ouch, try to update your bullshit stories, teabagger.
Unless you have the money to pay for your care out of pocket (without insurance), someone else will be deciding your fate. Right now, it's the guy who would actually make a nice, tidy profit if you'd just go ahead and die now. Does that REALLY make you more comfortable? "Bureaucrat" is a big scary word until you realize what's scarier.
These baggers are overfed and under informed and under educated. Dumb shits. If Government health care is so bad why don't Republican politicians drop their government insurance.
7:17 "People trust insurance companies more than they trust this federal government." I'll take my chances with any government over any insurance company.

Skydancer365 1 year ago 6
I've noticed that at "liberal" protests, they're almost always angry at somebody who's said vicious, vile things to them or about "underdog" groups". In other words, the conservatives almost always deserved the anger that the "liberals" have towards them.
Whereas "conservative" words are almost always against people like this guy with Parkinsons. To the "underdogs". In other words, conservatives are generally bullies and liberals are generally those who stick up for the bully's victims.

Did you hear yesterday that the teabaggers shouted "N*****" to black representatives and "fa**ot" to Barney Frank?
These people have no shame.

@bol316 Well, there certainly isn't proof that there is. Pretty amazing that no one caught one instance of racism, though, because over 100's of people brings cameras to the tea party rallies. Have you seen videos of the tea party? There's a video that shows interviews with African Americans saying that they aren't racist at all. So who are you going to listen to, The liberal media who's never stepped foot in a rally, or the people interviewed inside of one? Open your eyes, pal.

But the answer is not to put the government incharge of our lives and to decide who lives or dies.
alwaysguapo 1 year ago

How convenient that a camera man just happened to be there!! I've seen liberal protests where activists go balistic and violent on conservatives with an opposing point of view. But the cameras never seem to be in the right place at the right time. Darn it !!
Tea Party protests are very polite and respectful compared to liberal protests. There's no argument or comparison.
alwaysguapo 1 year ago
HEY CHRIS, Since you still have a tingle in your leg for Obama... Allow me to give you a clue... The system we have now has major flaws in the form of uncontrolled costs. They need to be fixed so that every American can afford healthcare. Democrats are against fixing these flaws because they see a way to get millions of people dependent on the government. Look how well the goverment has run Social Security. That's the future of your healthcare and as a bonus your taxes go up immediately.

My friend, I know exactly what you are talking about.
I've lived in Scotland 24 years and when Fox News wheels on one rebellious member of parliament to spew utter far-right lies about how the UK hates socialised medicine...it really bothers me.

No solution, just waiting till the bill dies,
just like the insurance company waits till the ill patients die.

the reason you don't see the people who want or need Pres.

They are complaining about a bill not only that they have NOT read but that they REFUSE to read.
