  • its very well done by any standard

  • i can't wait to see them in concert *squeels*

  • damn good!!!

  • damn good!!!

  • all 3 playing it why ????????

  • @marycockburn1 cuz john, paul, and george all played it together live. the point of RAIN is to have the complete Beatles experience...

  • The 4 dislikes are from the morons who thought the song was over at 1:58 SEEING THEM IN 3 WEEKS

  • the four dislikes are from the fab four

  • This band Rain is an excellent Beatles cover band. They nail it.

  • where are they performing??

  • what a good rendition of Paul's voice and guitar work!!! Awesome!!!

  • i saw this live. it was really good but one of the first things i noticed was the guy who plays paul isnt a left handed. lol. :)

  • @PickleAndPotato A small grievance compared to how he nails everything else down impeccably

  • IS absolutly awesome !! good for you guys !!

  • i went it was awesome

  • pros these guys are pros

  • The Rain Paul maybe not look like the real Paul, but he sounds just like him!

  • Bad Paul McCartney, okay George Harrison, good John Lennon! Looks just like him!

  • Good job Rain. I'm a 60 year old grandma and remember when the Beatles were on the Ed Sullivan show for 3 weekends in a row in the 60's. We always went to church on Sunday night and the only reason we were home was because my Grandmother had passed away. I also remember seeing Elvis on Sullivan's show on our black and white TV. Damn!!!! I'm old but 'Thanks for the memories",

  • this is amazing

  • absolutely amazing.

  • these guys are pretty good, but, no, guitarman754938, they don't sound the same, unless you haven't heard the beatles music enough. There are a few flaws, sound, costume, ect., but besides that, they're pretty good.

  • left hand , left handed, plays left handed. left something out.

  • im seeing them on san jose =)

  • Snoozefest

  • I get to see them in october on broadway!!!!!!

  • Does Anybody Know If They Are Gonna Come To Chicago??? :O I Want Too See Them So Badly!!

  • soo kool 2 c them all playing in unision

  • If you just heard this on the radio you would think it was some alternative version or something made by the real Beatles!

  • What Does Paul McCartney Think about this Group ? Does Anybody Know ?

  • @spazzcat03 he prob doesn't give two shits. lol

  • Love it!

  • saw them today live from the front row! theyre very good with the crowd and they riled us up! they are 120% real and they didnt lip synch-believe me, i thought they were but they weren't! theres a fifth guy thats off to the side and he does all of the violins and trumpets and stuff on his sound keyboard, but NOTHING is pre-recorded. i loved this show-see it, you will not be disappointed!

  • just seen them in Albany NY quality show i don't see how you can get any closer to the real deal.. fantastic !

  • Just saw them tonight.....fucking incredible

  • Saw these guys last night in Calgary. Absolutely stunning performance.

  • Best paul mccartney ive seen. Not exactly looks, but live, in some of the songs, the voice is VERY close. and im VERY picky...

  • Best Cover Of Paul Mccartney Ever!

  • They look so much like them its creepy

  • He sounds EXACTLY like Paul.

  • Rain is such a good cover up band! I just went to one of there shows and it was just like the real thing!

  • I saw them, it was crazy how amazing they are.

  • when u close ur eyes they sound the same

  • @guitarman754938 I didn't know you could hear with your eyes.

  • @TheistMew shut up i was like 10 when i said this

  • @applegeek322 And now you're like... what, 11?

  • @TheistMew no im 13

  • @applegeek322 cool story bro, I don't care much though

  • coolio

  • I saw Rain in toronto this past sunday. PHENOMENAL!!!!! It's true, you almost forget that your watching a tribute band. I'm planning to watch them again in the summer, they're coming back to T.O for a whole month. Can't wait.

  • Very Goood!!!!!!

  • I saw them when they were in Denver. I thought they were phenomenal! Many times I forgot that the were not the Beattles... All of the vocals were great. The drummer was amazing! Ralph, Can't wait to see you again in Denver.

  • I like Joey as Paul don't get me wrong, But having Met Graham Alexander he's such a sweetheart and honestly to me does a better performance as paul (seeing as how he plays the bass like Paul) and he's very talented for a boy of only 20.

  • wait a sec paul is left handed!

  • i noticed that when i saw them last night

  • That dude sounds nothing like Paul McCartney

  • @dnvlgm1 he sounds exactly like paul lol

  • I said no so it's no, ok? fuck hahah

  • @dnvlgm1 You sound like paul

  • what?? I sound better than that guy

  • @dnvlgm1 really? prove it.

  • I just saw these guys and the bass player played lefty but for this song he played right handed. I thought it was two guys for sure until they handed him his lefty bass onstage and he switched back. Unreal.

  • RAIN does have two performers who portray each character - including Paul. This is Joey Curatolo who plays both bass and guitar righty. The one you saw is Graham Alexander who plays bass lefty and guitar righty.

  • do they play on the same show or are there two separate rain bands?

  • They play on the same show. The cast members will rotate in and out to keep up with RAIN's intense schedule

  • Saw them and they did a great job. But they need to try something different, like perform the whole White Album or do songs from the Get Back sessions.

  • How come Paul is right handed?

  • he use to play right handed, but no he plays lefty

  • *now*

  • @arock1243 What's that suppose to mean.

  • the real paul is left handed, but the fake paul is played by 2 people, one is right handed, and one is left handed

  • @IndyJ10 how many left handed bassists do u know that sound exactly like paul....none....impossible

  • The Paul dude has Paul down pat. The voice. Even the facial expressions!

  • They are awesome, some of their covers are barely distinguishable from the real thing.

  • j4bologna1998 ROCKS!!!!!!!!

  • just listen

  • Rain has 2 'Pauls' in its cast. Joey C. -featured here plays righty. Alex S., plays lefty bass but righty acoustic.

  • no one ever will mach pual non less two ... just like MJ only one!

  • wonderful perfomance, here in Brazil we have the "Beatles forever" cover, i want see them in the theater soon.

  • Im kinda imagining how a Beatle concert would be like if they were still together.

  • or alive......

  • Too bad this wasn't on the live CD of theirs. I LOVED this version.

  • In response to needing there to be a left-handed Paul, when we saw Rain perform, Joey (Paul) actually played bass left handed! We were extremely impressed. It was only the guitar where he played right-handed which makes sense.

  • Joey does not play left handed. However, Rain's alternate "Paul", Alex Smith, is a lefty. Who you saw was most likely Alex Smith. They are both great!

  • Oh thanks for clearing that up! I had no idea. Wow I certainly sounded like a newbie in my last comment.

However he did play the guitar right-handed...why would he do that if Paul is left-handed and Alex is left-handed anyway?

  • No worries. I've heard people make that mistake before. They both are so much like McCartney it's incredible. Alex plays bass left handed but I do believe (I could be very wrong so don't quote me on it) that he is naturally a righty. It seems as if that's what I heard at one point and that is a logical explanation but I will try to clear that up with Alex for ya.

  • It's official: Alex is originally right handed, but learned bass left handed to portray Paul McCartney.

  • That's awesome! Thanks for letting me know!

  • Just saw them last night at the Pantages Theater. This was my favorite part of the show. I would recommend Rain.

    Very good show!

  • If only they had a left handed paul.

  • this sounds soo much like the beatles its incredible

  • they have brought the Beatles back to life

  • These guys are so fucking cool. How could you not be blown away, while seeing this show?

  • @smartass2st i was when i saw it jesus christ haha

  • amazing!!!!!!!!!!

  • amazing.

  • This is pretty good, but I think Joey Curatolo does a much better job at his impression of McCartney during his Wings era. I rescently heard the song "Love Take Me Down (to the Streetlights)," that he did for some movie. I'll admit, I could have been tricked into thinking that it was really some lost Wings song that had rescently been discovered.

  • Man i'd do anything to see Rain again.

  • AWSOME!

  • Tremendous! Almost like the real thing. Congratulations to you all!

  • I'm going to see them this weekend in Baltimore too and I can't wait! It should be a great show =]

  • wow your lucky!

    it should be really good!

  • I think they are great. I wonder if Paul or Ringo have watched any of these. Interesting to find out what they think.

  • I heard that Paul went to one and enjoyed it

  • These guys have to rank easily in the top 3 of the all time best beatles band. They seem to hit every note accurately as the record and they play it so effortlessly. Great job

  • ...referring to the person who said koo koo ka choo was from I am the Walrus.

  • i'm not sure who's better rain or the fab four(another tribute band, not the real Fab Four)...i'm leaning towards rain but im still not sure

  • RAIN is way better.

    trust me

just listen to the both videos of each one and you can tell RAIN is way better.

  • The Fab Four is WAY WAY WAY better! I was almost falling asleep at the RAIN concert! I felt like they made it more about their own band rather than actual Beatles. When they showed pictures, they were of the members of RAIN rather than the Beatles. I don't know about you, but I'd rather experience the Beatles (in photos), not Rain. Plus the Fab Four sounded much better imo.

  • Um dude, it's a TRIBUTE band, NOT a cover band. Get a life. Besides, the Beatles never performed most of these songs live. In fact the majority of them could not be performed live back in the day... the technology just wasn't there. So get a life.

  • First of all, I do have the right to my own opinion, so there's no need to tell me to get a life...TWICE in the same comment. I'm allowed to think The Fab Four was better. And you are allowed to think RAIN was better.

What does the fact that they didn't perform most of the songs life have to do with anything?

And yes, I'm aware they're a tribute band...Again, what does that have to do with anything?

  • Going to see them in October in Baltimore...I hope they do Blackbird!

  • OMG!!!! HE IS JUST TOO MUCH LIKE PAUL.. HE VOICE..IS JUST LIKE HIS...LOVIN IT!!!

    xOxO

    *MiZz PeNnY LaNe*

  • cant wait to see them!! july 2nd

  • wow, I went July 3 :)

  • sounds just like paul

  • Koo koo ka cho

  • Wrong song...I can see that someone didn't take his pills this morning.

  • Koo koo ka what?

  • uhhhh thats I am the walrus

  • goo goo g'joob...

  • Wow!! This is the first time I've ever heard these guys. I've seen 1964 The Tribute & Beatlemainia but this is amazing. If the guy playing Paul was left handed it would be perfect. Sounds just like the Beatles!!!!

  • that was amazing puts my version to shame.

  • I saw them. They are as queenie0106 said: "the closest thing you can get to the real beatles!" They were amazing go to their site and see when they tour near you.

  • Curatolo's (paul) daughter is in opera with me... this is amazing... gawrsh, therese. no wonder you're so talented.

  • incredible! the closest thing you can get to the real Beatles!

  • it fells like 1964 again

  • Outstanding. I saw Beatlemania Now 2 summers ago, and that was great too.

  • Comment removed

  • CMan- I'm going tomorrow too! :)

  • goign tomorrow night to see them at the academy of music

  • im going to see them in febuary

  • He plays it just like paul!!!!!

  • You're just not gonna hear this, or any Beatles song for that matter, done any better than by these guys right here.

This is so spot on and the fact that all of these guys are amazing musicians shines through in this performance.

  • Wow these guys are extraordinary!! I am going to see them in March and I can't wait!!!

  • in the state theater? cause thats where am going.

  • They are amazing!

I have seen them twice, and they blow me away every time!

  • I remember these lads vocals on THE BIRTH OF THE BEATLES, AMAZING LIKENESS, AND THE LADS WHO PLAYED THEM WERE GOOD TOO.

  • How long does their show usually run at a professional theatre? 2 hrs?

  • pianoman - about 2 hours. i went last night, and we went so nuts that they played 4 or 5 encores. it was just unbelievable.

  • sweet i saw them earlier tonight in Raliegh NC and they were great, everyone was goin crazy at the end during hey jude

  • Nice, very nice!

  • Thanks for the fantastic in house quality videos. Hope future dates include something in the Tahoe/Reno area or better yet somewhere in the S.F. Bay Area. Later, cheers guys...

  • fuckin' eh guy.

  • great

  • Wow!!! HE sounds sooo much like Paul!!

  • He is the best "Paul" I've ever seen!! He is fantastic. I saw them for the first time in Liverpool as part of Beatle Week. The full stage show and in the Cavern doing early stuff. The best Beatle band i've ever seen, and i've been going to Beatle week for 15 years. I love you guys! Only problem is i'm from Scotland, so will probably never see them again! :(

  • come back to southern ontairo!! preferably kitchener!! :)

  • Yikes, youre not kidding about the Paul here. Sounds just like him if your eyes are closed. If I were the real Paul Id invite "me" over for a glass of wine and make "Me" do a few songs. Wonder if Paul or Ringo has seen Rain?

  • Very nice. Do you guys ever get down South like around Atlanta.

  • The closest to Atlanta we'll be is Charleston, SC on November 18th '07 at the Performing arts center & the 19th at the Bi Lo center in Greenville SC. look for updates at rainthebeatlesexperience-dot-com

  • Close your eyes and... think for a moment that you're in the 60's. Every member is meticulously like the real thing. This "Paul" evens sounds like McCartney when he screams in some of the hard-rocking songs. The best!

  • do you have any from the concert in vancouver, june 18, 2006? that would be really awesome

  • I'm so gonna see them when they come back!!! They were AMAZING when I went.

  • He not only sounds like Paul when he sings, but also when he talks. Check out 0:08 in and at 2:00 too. Scarey!

  • And he also looks like him. Mabye he'll be Paul when he dies a second time.

  • omg! u guys r amazing i have seen your show 4 times and will probably see it more...cant wait till u come round again...

  • actually Joey is originally from Brooklyn NY

  • Joey you look and sound great.

nice to hear your doing well.

    Marty

  • Dear god, these guys are great. He sounds exactly like McCartney. Can't believe they're from Jersey! Hahah, 101.5. XD
