The pain! The epic man pain! Oh, why whywhy! You're both so clever. Why could you not work something out? My head canon so has Erik and Charles being reconciled (Movie and comic canon be damned; they deserve to be together).

Beautiful vid. The low tone at the end when Erik stared down at Charles makes me believe that Erik would have stolen Charles away and kept him safe while Erik scoured the globe for a healing mutant.

I agree with you on the "we can work this out" context and "I want this so badly" context. And yeah, the relationship between these two is worth so much more than the first two action-packed movies. And I say this as a typically anti-slash person and as an X-Men fan. I hope in the sequel they will have flashbacks to the good times and not just angst. ;__;
