You need to learn how to deal with the barrel climb on the ak, get a akm style wood kit and pull down every time you fire, this counters the barrel climb. Good video though

Ar15 seem to have better construction, the parts just feel solid. ak's will never stop!! When the government gets fubar go the ak, never needs cleaning, never needs oil, never needs to cool, indestructible. Ar's will need cleaning but a 1st time shooter is able to hit a quarter at 300yds on a bench. Its a tie between the 2.

Nice Galil can't find any in CA yet I bet they are having troubles making them CA legal. Probably comes down to they can do it but it doesn't become cost effective enough and just cheaper to sell WASR-10's.

@bossman12334 i recommend you use a replacement sight like EOT tech, but w/e, anyway the Ar15 would be easier to use, shoot and get, ammo is plentiful and there's a lot you can do with an Ar15, and it's lightweight but the ak47 is a little harder to get ammo is not as plentiful, you can do a few things with a Ak47, its very reliable if its a lighter design expect recoil, Ar15 is good to 600meters the ak47 is good to 400meters, Ak's better for close combat

@gangstajah74 if there is one of the 5.45x39mm cartridge and it fits the magwell, but it's gonna be heavy as hell and maybe jam a lot due to the stress of weight on the magwell and bolt, but even the Aks74u has a big bolt so it SHOULD be fine
