I hate how people overlook pokemon because of its cuteness.  It's a good and easy RPG. I like it.

Pokemon blows. It's gameplay is too shallow in depth. I got bored in the days of RGB/SG times and even went to drawing tables and GS'ing pokemon to see the optimal gene stats and ideal teams. Nintendo never bothered to make balance in the game. It's like fighter games. The tier system ruins the fun factor. It's about as fun as seeing 4 racers on Mario Kart DS racing all with Dry Bones/Egg 1 on WiFi.
