Cozy is a Phenominal drummer it's a shame he's been toned down in this video...He plays in my band what an unbelievably talented & sound bloke he is too..."Cozy you are the best m8!!!"......WOW!!!!
Anyone who caught The Quireboys live 89-93 will have often seen the Red Dogs playing with them. Footage has recently been rediscovered and is now on youtube. Do a search for "Red Dogs Working Late" to bring up the video for the single or "Red Dogs Super Channel" for two live tracks and small interview. Hope it brings back memories for some of you.
I remember seeing them interviewed on the power hour when mayfair 1st came out and spike actually said he thought the record company were getting a model for the video and i quote "they ended up sending us some old slapper" lol i love spike
Cozy was a fine drummer; I really miss him. You can't mime drums though, can you? When shooting for this video, he was forced to drum with a light touch because nobody could hear the playback to mime their own parts when he was drumming with his usual live force!
Don't know for sure; I'm no insider or biographer so don't quote me! But the alternative story I recall hearing at the time (~March 1989) was that new manager Mrs Osbourne simply didn't like him, claiming he couldn't keep time and "sang like a cow"!!
By the way do you have the full episode of this show? If you do, is it possible to upload the specialist chart, chart file update and top ten !!! :))))
If it weren't for this song I would never have found The Wildhearts.

I've waited for someone to upload this for ages. Saw these in 87 supporting Malmsteen of all people and they blew him off the stage.

@DavidNebraski Hi David. Why did they get rid of him? The story at the time was he couldn't cope with the studio pressure..
