@mintico If you paid attention at the start of the movie when Quin was writing in his diary, there was a note which said "Fire = Food" So your taking into account all the modern day weapons such as missiles and gas, both of which either produce or aid fire. To launch a missile there must be fire and when it explodes there is fire. Therefore these only aid them. And toxin gasses are flammable again which would produce more fire thus aiding the dragons. We'd be useless against them.

@mintico Apparently we used these weapons, it only helped them. Besides dragons aren't real so if they suddenly became real we would know next to nothing about them, we know a lot about ants because we lived with them and studied them etc, but for dragons it would take time to study them which would be even more difficult if they attack us non stop, and if fire feeds them then we are fucked because most of our weapons need fire, nukes need fire to launch, planes need fire to fly etc

true. that would work if they only had trucks and cars, but they have a chopper and tanks. im not sure what that tank is, but i do know that the american M1 abrams tank runs on aircraft grade fuel, not diesel. not that its an abrams, but still, thats a lot of gas.

The Chieftain's a British-made and used tank, so I wouldn't be surprised if they just brought over the men, ammo, small arms, fuel, maybe the helicopter (seeing as the copter is a Coast Guard model).

4:15 was one of the funniest lines I have ever heard in a movie. "so uh you guys uh, ..jump out the chopper and use a *net* to snare dragons" I'm an American but that is some serious good acting there. I can tell that he is using European sarcasm and like while he is delivering that line, he is acting like he is trying to maintain his composure by not laughing. Dude I laughed my ass off for like 20 mins. He is making fun of Americans cuz "we think we can do anything"!
