  • can u make the verifacation call if u dont have service..

    y

  • @sporio02 You need to be connected to a wifi or 3g network, but you do not necessarily need to have cellphone service

  • if i have an iphone and i am connected to 3g not wifi will i be able to call?

  • @ray93950 I am almost positive you can, but if it doesn't let you, I know there is a jail broken app that allows you to do so.

  • I have a iPhone 4 from Verizon I got the app icall but it's asking me about my credit card info I don't understand can you help bro?

  • @benezra777 It shouldn't be doing that. Make sure you signed up for the free calling option

  • it says call failed, doesnt it run off of internet

  • @86trentons Yes, it does, make sure you;re connected to wifi

  • is there icall for blackberry!?

  • @davy505 I'm not sure...

  • where did you get that speaker thing?

  • @xoBMTHrockzzox Ebay/Amazon. It's called the Macally iVoice iii

  • there are 15 second adds for every call you make

  • @Dumbledorvsdementors Yes, that's how they keep it free

  • guys, a lot of the time the credit can be obtained by just downloading one of the apps from sponsors .

There is an app called "textfree" it has voice calling and I use it all the time...

  • @heyitsfreddy Ohhh, thanks for the heads up!

  • WTF is the app called

  • @itouchmac1 iCall

  • unlock all phones --> misophones . com

  • iCall isn't free. It has Free Calling but you get 5 minute limit and you the ad takes 15 seconds of talk time.

  • @iPhonesAreAwesome Really? I guess I never talked for more than 5 minutes...

  • @iminichrispy yeah. I was talking and it said you have reached your max calling length goodbye

  • @iPhonesAreAwesome apptrackr . org has all the free apps for free

  • @gpmyles Thanks kind of illegal... Nevermind it's not 'kind of' illegal, it's completely illegal.

  • No it doesnt

  • With iCall on my computer, it gives an exstention number

  • @onekid1000 Ahhh, I see. Does that extension number also work if you have the same account on the computer and on the iPhone?

  • I checked. It said you need credit

  • Where do u see ur extention num

  • @onekid1000 I don't know, I think you might have to be a paid member to get it. Also, try out the whistle phone app. It let's you make free calls AND it gives you a phone number.

  • The Whistle Phone app now lets you get a number with your local area code!

  • @Resistoon Thanks for the heads up! I just got it, it's AWESOME!! Now I actually have a phone number that is similar to the phone number or my friends!

  • I found a much better free phone app called Whistle Phone. Yes there are ads but the calls have no time limit. Maybe you could do a video review for it?

  • @Resistoon Dude you're right! that app is amazing and it's also iPad-compatible and gives you a phone number! Thanks for sharing this, I might just make a video about it! =D

  • @iminichrispy I really hope you do a video review on it! Yea Whistle Phone seems to be just what I was looking for. They give you your own number, even though it's a randomly generated number. So it could be a long distance call for someone to call you on it. But the developer says they are going to fix that so you can get a local number. It's a very smooth app and the ads really don't get in your way.

  • @Resistoon It's so much better than iCall, I can't believe I've never heard of it! Thanks for letting me know, this app is definitely review-worthy!

  • @iminichrispy I am deleting iCall, just like the Whistle Phone app so much better. The company also has a really good forum, where they respond to customer issues very quickly.

I am eagerly waiting on your video review!

  • @Resistoon I just deleted mine, too! I need to check out that forum....

  • @iminichrispy How about that review on Whistle Phone?

  • Comment removed

  • I have found some issues with this app. It seems to be very finicky, at times saying a cell number I try to call has been disconnected and no longer is service, when this is not true. Sometimes dialing the number again, works. Also I am not getting any sound when entering the number on the app's keypad. And there is no speaker phone option. It also gives your caller ID info from the number used to register the app with.

I hope many of these issues can be fixed or worked around.

  • @Resistoon Hmmm, you may want to contact the developers to let them know of these problems. Leave a review in the app store or email them!

  • Okay so how to get this app to work with an iPhone 3G that isn't connected to a cell phone network? When I tried getting it to work it wants to place a cell call to initiate the process but fails due to not being able to make the call.

  • @Resistoon Nevermind.....I got it to work!

  • @Resistoon AWESOME!

  • thanks AP

  • @csamson101 You're welcome!!!

    AP???

  • HSPS

  • @csamson101 Hahahaha, Are you Steven? Or Ryan? If not, who are you???

  • have u found a way to get ur own phone number

  • @NoelTheDivineOne Nah, I think the only way to do that is by paying for the service.

  • Smart guy. Although I knew all this b4, thanx for being so polite to your mom :) 5+++

  • @RomanMoskva Hahaha, I love you're comment! Thank you! =D

  • thanks kid :):):)

  • @MegaRplayer You're welcome! =D

  • Thank u

  • @money852009 Anytime =D

  • where did u get the mockorphone

  • @machomccallum I think amazon, but I'm not sure. You can also try Macally's website

  • first gen sucks

  • @machomccallum Absolutely!! I can't wait to get a better one!

  • I have an iPhone with no sim and it's not letting me use it please help

  • @money852009 When the number pops up that you need to call, don't call it using your iPhone, use another phone to dial the number. That should do it!

  • what app do u use and do u need a SIM card

  • @DonovanProulx It's called iCall and you DO NOT need a SIM card, just a WiFi connection.

  • @iminichrispy thanx

  • @DonovanProulx You're welcome!

  • your fuckin stupid its not free. just the first three calls are and you still have to enter credit card number

  • @ballasmn I've been using it for 2 years and I've never had to pay a thing... Are you sure you signed up for the Free Calling plan?

  • r u from California!? but i signed up for free calling and it wants me to place a verifacation call and i dont have minutes from t-mobile cause my iphone 1g is unlocked and jailbroken. so do i just get some minutes and verify it

  • @saintchris94 No, I'm not from California. You don't have to use your iPhone to place the verification call. You can use your house phone or any other phone to dial. That's how iPod Touch users can still use the app.

  • @saintchris94 hey man listen go to my channel to sewe how to do this without calling verivication number plus get ur own number this one u gotta pay 9.95 monthly

  • r u from California!?

  • nvm

  • when it asks to dial a number to activate icall r u shure its free to call it

  • @TheIpodtouchhelper15 It might not be free if you use the iPhone to call it, but you can use your house phone or another phone to call the number instead of from the iPhone =D

  • this rocks! THANK YOU!

  • @NeoDragonFlame YOU'RE WELCOME!!!

  • Hey nice video but I have a I phone 3G but I don't have the sim card but when it says to call some number my call is canceled because I don't have a sim card if I put a random sim card will it work?? Please reply

  • @1237257 When the number pops up on the screen, you can use another phone to call it. So if you have a house phone, you can use that instead =D

  • hi i downloaded this and it works fine but the sound quality kind of sucks. I also have vonage app and it worked fine for about 2 or 3 months unlimited calls for free but now is stuck on placing calls. The good thing about vonage is that it has really good sound quality.

  • @ati51 Hmmm, the sound quality works pretty good for me. Are you using it in the US or somewhere else? I guess it doesn't really have to do with your internet connection because the vonage app works great for you, but you could try it somewhere else on a different wifi connection. Let me know if this works and I'll think of some other stuff you can try! =D

  • @iminichrispy Yea the sound quality sucks like when i say hello it takes like 3 or 4 seconds for it to say it and is slow also. I used it for about 4 minutes and after that the call ends and vonage i talked to my friends for hours and everything works fine but the problem is that my vonage is not working probaly i tryed deleting and restoring it but nothing works. I will try to use it in a diffrent wify as u said and if that doesnt work i will contact vonage support and say my app isnt working.

  • Does it give you unlimited calls and what if u are using a iphone 2g withouth service

  • @ati51 Yes =D It uses wifi, not the AT&T network

  • you can download a vonage app and do the same thing

  • @skinnyinside1 Sadly, that's not free =(

  • cool vid kid it was supa helpful

  • @conceitedgurl13 You're welcome! I'm glad it helped =D

  • @iminicrispy will this work internationaly? Please respond back ASAP

  • @somewhere643919 You should be able tom place calls TO the US and Canada FROM any country, but you call make calls TO anywhere else. This is if you choose the free calling option.

  • Is my phone company going to charge nd is dere any hidden charges???? Anybody pls reply ......... Nice video

  • @pinoy8998 No, your phone company will not charge you at all. iCall is a completely different company than your phone company. They have a completely different service. You can make unlimited, free calls to the US & Canada using the iCall app. If you want to call outside that region, you must sign up and pay for the service. I hope this helps!

  • Hey guys i know how to verify iCall without a phone. You need a computer that you can download skype once you have skype make a new account using fake info. you get 1 free trial call per account. use your free call to verify it :P thumbs up if i helped!!!!

  • @jacobap96 Thanks!

  • haha ur mom called!! LOLOLZZ sweet :P

  • @ipodz217 Hahahah, yea it was pretty funny =D

  • Can u be outside on the go and still get calls?

  • @SpaceMonkeyZ101 Only if you are connected to a wifi or 3G network =D

  • what app is that plz help because i want that app.

  • @19sharif19 It's called iCall. Thanks for mentioning this, I just put a link to it in the description!

  • does it work in uk?

  • @joshrulez2244 I think it works, but you can only call numbers in the US, but I may be wrong and I can't try it since I don't live in the UK!

  • You guys to activate the iPod touch icall app at the verifacation number you can just call it with your home phone then exit the app and open the app again and it will be done

  • @skillboy5906 Wow, I never knew that. You have n idea how many people you just helped. Thanks!

  • Thx and can you send me a free iTunes gift card code

  • @ILOVEIPODTOUCHS I don;t have any...

  • thank you!

  • @blackendheart1s You're welcome!

  • Wat if I'm using my iPhone as an iPod

  • @ratsstar97 How is that possible? All iPhones are iPods, they can all play music =D

  • @iminichrispy like not having service on the iphone. so how do i make a verification call

  • @ratsstar97 Ohh, I see. A lot of iPod Touch users have been having that problem recently. If you have a twitter, I would @reply them to see if they can help. You can also contact them from their website.

  • @iminichrispy ok thx

  • @Jimmyjimmy091 Haha, no, but now that I look at it, it actually looks like I am =D

  • can u call other cell phones?

  • @Brettg782 You sure can =D

  • @iminichrispy but i when i make a verification call it says i need a sim card my iphone doesnt have one so how can this work on ipod touch?

  • @Brettg782 I don't know. A lot of people have been having this same problem so i dont know whats up. I was able to make the verification call on my ipod touch 1st generation.

  • definately i have the app and love it1!!!!!!!

  • THANK YOU!!! :D

  • YOU'RE WELCOME!!! =D

  • i am from australia and yes i agree about what was said regarding the mumdad service

  • I'm not sure what he was talking about with the mumdad service.....

  • Dude I am stuck on vervation like how could I call them and what is older I call app

  • Yea, a lot of people seem to be having that problem. Have you tried contacting iCall about it?

  • well my trick is better and easier.. I just get my phone and dial 1800 mumdad

  • Haha, well some people want to make phone calls from their iPod Touch, but I guess your way is easier =D

  • When I went to mexico, I could call my house in the US, but I don't think you can call other countries other than the US and Canada. If you are in the US, I don't think you'll be able to call your brother, but you might get lucky and it will work. The company that makes the app says that the free calling plan only lets you make calls TO the US and Canada.

  • where did you get that speaker

  • It's a microphone called the macally iVoice 3. You can get it from macally's website (macally [dot] com), or if you search my videos for "macally ivoice," 3 videos should pop up, and I know in the description of one of the videos are direct links to buy the mic.

  • Don't remember

  • hey it wont give me a # to call plz plz plz help on a 3g itouch

  • Hmmm, when does it ask you to call? Is it during the registration?

  • Itll say it's gonna gimme a number during the registration but it doesn't

  • I forgot how to bypass that, because somehow I got my iPod Touch registered. I just emailed iCall to see what they have to say about this. Maybe you can download the desktop version from their website (icall [dot] com), make an account there, and then enter the account info on the app. I don't know if this will work, though.

  • ILL TRY

  • signed up online but still wont work

  • I'll let you know what iCall says after they email me back.

  • Ok thanks

  • iCall said it might have to do with where you're calling from. You must be in the US or Canada for the free version to work. Were you trying it from one of these countries. If not, then thatr's probably the problem.

  • I live in California it will say icall is about to connect you with a Buber to call do u have a strong enough connection? And then nothing

  • ok i tried a different method and got siphon and did everything but it just gives an error: bad gateway. What does this mean?

  • What SIP provider are you using?

  • I've tried alot like freecal voip buster etc

  • When using voipbuster, what did you put in the domain field for voipbuster?

  • So dude like it tells me not compatible with ipod touch when i try to download . Help please!!!!!

  • Watch my video on how to install iPhone-only apps on an iPod Touch. That's how I got this app on mine =D

  • omg thank you so much! fring never worked but this actually does and really well!!

  • Sweet! I'm glad you found what you needed!

  • well don't hurt yurself trying to figure it out lolz .... Thks for ur help :) I looked at some of the reviews off the app on the app store and some people are having simliar issues .... Maybe it just needs an update ? idk but thank youu

  • Hahaha, yea I think the only thing you can do now is wait and hope they will fix it

  • Umm I don't think so .... cause I use this thing all the time so no

  • That's really weird. I just tried mine and it went for 6 minutes. I set the autolock to never so that it wouldn't go to sleep and lose wifi. I checked the iCall website and I didn't see anywhere that they limited the amount of time you could call. I don't really know what could possibly be going wrong...

  • Alright yeah it's like keeps the time but then it goes silent so like it will be 3:12 and then all of a sudden I can hear the other
