It's worth noticing how close that mic is to the centre of his snare drum. It's a mark of a drummer who's snare hits must be about a coins width apart in the dead centre of the skin.

If he hit that mic it would make a rather unpleasant noise. But for someone who can play with that kinda control, there seems to be no chance of that happening.

@TheZDrum I think it was during the fall about a year or two ago that he went on a heavy diet and exercise regimen and lost about 70 lbs

@TheZDrum There's another channel that I think his wife made - on there, she said he is doing a natural/low carb diet of mostly meats, veggies and some fruits. Cut out all stuff like beers, sugars, etc.
