The christian religion creates the disease and then offers the cure. The disease is that we're all born sinners but we must repent to cleanse our body of that disease. This ridiculous man made doctrine is responsible for millions of untold human suffering. The bible was written by man to subjugate the masses.
Yep he's right. In our future, venus project societies, clothing are not mandatory, and i agree this would be better, less sex related crimes and abnormal behaviors in that regard. Now, go tell that to a muslim who supports the use of the burka.....
See what i mean, we're light years away from that free, higher consciousness...
Or, maybe those islanders were trained to avert their eyes by their culture, either way culture condition the person not to obsess over sexual beauty.
Clothes should be something to keep warm, but instead they are things that represent economic standing, and things that only show off certain portions of the body, bringing attention to them, teasing and objectifying. Liberation from sexual objectification or from pre-determined definitions of what is beautiful, "sexy", "hot", etc. has not occured. Ritual dressing and embellishment was natural in ancient cultures, but today our minds are limited by media which intends to objectify and dehumanize
