I love crested geckos SO MUCH! I have 3 in my room. Mine is a female (Queenie) my brothers is male (Lizzy) and female (Isabella) . I LOVE THEM SO MUCH!
this is an amazing cage, pretty much perfect in decoration and size and all. i love your breeding skills and how great care you take of your pets. i subbed and liked
do they both get along? Im wanting 2 but alot of people have put me off by saying 1 day they get along and 1 they they just start fighting each other.
also did you buy them together or separately and added them together im not sure how old they would have to be to know they are both female
I have the same cage as you but the smaller version.. would it be ok to get a baby crested in my tank or should I upgrade? I was trying to use the cage I have now because I literally just bought it so dont want to buy another just yet but im afraid it will be too small for a crested gecko
@Giusepp00 it's normal becuase they do eat but they just take occasional licks and you don't often see them do it but when they eat from your finger that's probably the onlytime you will know for sure they are eating
I've had my baby crestie for a month but I've never seen her eat and she never licks her little bowl clean. ever. But if i offer her the CGD on my finger she'll take it. Is that normal?
@botton132 realx, people have used loose substrate for years with no problem. just mkae sure you dont use stuff with large wood chips or chunks. you could also use reptile carpet from Zoo Med.
i got a couple questions if you do not mind. 1. What is the best substrate. 2. what is the best laybox substrate. 3. would crested gecko's be able to eat organic baby food mixed with abit of calcium and with crickets as a treat every saturday and sunday.
Queenie would just jump onto my hand if a put it in her Terrarium!

@Starlightshadow22 one juvenile at the most but once it becomes about a year old, you should really move it to a 18x18x24

I would like to put a crested gecko in a 12x12x18 exo terra would this be ok for one
coppercapisgay 2 months ago
@coppercapisgay maybe a tight squeeze but only one adult at the most.
justchata 2 months ago
@coppercapisgay a young one yes, but definitely not an adult. crested gecko's need lots of room to climb and jump
Petz4life17 3 weeks ago
Shouldn't 2 adult crested gecko's have at least a 30X30X60 terrarium??

@458Dezzy921 use crested gecko diet (CGD). its really easy, and its good for them. you could give it crickets as a treat, too.
