  • Dr. Delapena. Can you delet my last posts? I'm been a blind guy writting all that. I think you are wright when you say that there is a fun world out there. I love kitesurfing and I'm not so blind as you said. But right now I have a broken bone so I guess I'm just bored and annoying yourself. You have a cool video. Keep having fun with the kids. It's just because I expect new stuff o be better than the classic stuff. But I unerstand that everything has a begining. Congrat. for been part of this!

  • I don't want to remove your comments, I think they're fun!

  • Yes, I'm wrong. I'm not American. But as long as I concern, my mistake does not make you right. Im MY opinion, this is not science. Who needs a Laser to cut an hiperplasic soft tissue that could be removed in seconds. And about the knife scene..... I think it's crappy and WRONG. What's your point on this video? What is there to be shown anyways? I appologyse for my comment again, but I could'nt avoid writting again...

  • Dr. Sinixtro, I think you're spending too much time in your clinic. There's a fun world out there you know. That's what this video is all about, just fun, laser dentist meets Rambo. Not intended to annoy, teach or endorse. I have been using lasers to remove growths & found out that there's minimal post-op discomfort and it actually heals faster than with scalpel. I actually just did this to have fun with my kids and they said it would make a funny youtube vid. Don't apologize for your opinion.

  • Owful video. I'll list some primary mistakes. 1 tied his shoes and didnt wash hands. 2 put gloves on and THEN grab his knife. WHAT WAS THAT KNIFE SCENE FOR? As a dentist I'm sorry for the way sofisticated stuff such as a laser can overcome even basic principles in the midia. We should give credits for something else. That is not science. By the way I can remove that with a blade in less than a minute. In my opinion its just a theatre for making money, easy, meaningless and wrong.

  • All this from a guy who can't spell "Awful"...

  • thanks so much....

  • So what is it that you exactly need? Are you having pain? Dentures, crowns, bridges? I will write to your mail regarding their numbers. Thanks.

  • ah ok thanks i thought its somewhere in the philippines.

  • Where in the Philippines are you located? Maybe I can help you find a dentist who may provide you with the treatment that you need. Just lemme know...

  • ah thanks po....so san po ang location ng clinic nyo?

  • Los Angeles, California

  • do you also perform implant?

  • Hi Mhean, yes I do implants too. Check out my uploads entitled "Dr. D's dental implant 1-3". Thanks. Nice routine on the SCC upload by the way.

  • Question from a reader:

Can you tell me if the size of the laser can be calibrated to cover a larger area say 2 or 3cm thanks for your time regarding this matter and I look forward to hearing from you asap.

  • The working tip of this laser is very small, it's is like the point of a pen.

The working distance is from 1/2 to an inch. It is ineffective beyond that.

It is designed for dental use only and is highly, federally regulated.

To cover an area or working spot of 2-3 cm is simply beyond dentistry.

    Hope this helps.

  • Ahhh, I see we're using a lazer to remove that fibroma. Nice!

  • Thanks for sharing. Are you a general dentist or oral surgeon? I'm a future dental student just learning about lasers in dentistry. Thanks again and I hope to see more soon!

  • I'm a general dentist. If you want more information try to Google "Academy of Laser Dentistry" and "World Clinical Laser Institute"

  • Hello there and thanks for asking. Getting some fillings done on those cavities are the least expensive option you have now. If you wait longer and those cavities start affecting the nerve, you will need root canal treatments or RCTs. RCTs are very expensive, not to mention the post and crown that the dentist may suggest to you after the RCTs. If you want to save money, see your dentist NOW! I hope this helps.

  • i have some cavities, i was wondering what's the least costly cure?

  • oic. thanks for your reply. I also saw some of your clips. You have wonderful kids. Do you have a friendster account po? hehehe add kita?

  • hi doc, why wasn't the patient bleeding?

  • Hi there! Why wasn't the patient bleeding? It's because the laser energy instantly cauterizes (seals blood vessels)around the incision areas, thus no bleeding. Saw your clips, you have a wonderful family, stay healthy!

  • Hey Doc, nothing much, just a little fibroma removal using a hydrophotonic laser.

  • nice video! im a dentist from the phil. i would want to see more. or perhaps some e mails. thanks

  • will it hurt?

  • some sensation but no real pain.

  • oh ok i hope ill never have that problem. wana b friends?

  • sure

  • :D i send request

  • It's an abnormal growth on the mucosa (inside skin). Dentists are trained to spot these abnormalities and remove when necessary. Thanks for asking though. This patient complained of this annoying "little lump" that sometimes bleed when he accidentally bites on it.

  • so, wana b friends?and nice beginning

  • wats with the string pulling the inside lip? and why is a dentistworking on the lip not the teeth?
