Me imagino que tu eres una gran inteligente y que sabes hacer todo super bien. Sin embargo me pregunto que tan cierto es eso: que uno es el reflejo exacto de lo que critica.
actually, the only 'authentic' one, was the star one...now they have different shapes and are made to look like certain characters from shows because of the little kids..and were originaly used by those catholic priests waaay back when the spanish took over to try to convince the natives to believe in god and all that..the blindfold, the bat, the treats inside and the star's spikes all have a meaning, so in the beggining it wasnt meant for it to be 'for fun only' :) but thanks for the video
If you call your site EXPERTS,please do at least some research before you post this kind of stuff...it's offensive for us Mexicans, you are talking about our traditions and culture.
Please!we use pinatas for several celebrations, but the origin is very diffent. They were used in our traditional Posadas and Pastorelas where the pinata represents the sin and evil, you hit the pinata with a bat that represents God's power against the sin and when it brokes is like you win against the devil and the candies inside are your reward.Anyway, with time they were used in birthdays and other occasions bc they were really popular.
WTF, I'm mexican, and seriously, this woman is crazy.

It;s not 5 it;s 7!!! and they represent the 7 dedly sins, pride, envy, gluttony, lust, anger, greed and sloth (los 7 pecados capitales Lujuria, Gula, Avaricia, Pereza, Ira, Envidia y Soberbia).
when you break it the candy is the price you get for defeating the sins. So aside from the fact that you put candy in it, you got it all wrong

Not true... Those are not classic mexican piñatas.. Make some research lady.
The classical ones is the star. with pointy corners.. We dont even do burro or cactus piñatas.. only in American cartoons and Hollywood movies.
