Just saying, I do taekwondo aswell but I don't see much use for the 540 kick, it seems more of a demonstration kick more than a kick you can use. It seems to have a vertical axis which doesn't really seem effecting in any type of fight.
@Gh0st3d It's not practical in least, but it is an effective strike. A TKD fighter uses it against a Kickboxer and scores a knockdown with it in the collage video "Taekwondo in the K-1, Muay Thai & Kickboxing Ring". Youtube search that title. Its at 2:43 in the video.
@WhirlwindAction Oh yea I see. Lol usually I still like to be standing up after performing a kick. But i guess it looks alot cooler if you strike your opponent and fall. I gues.. unless you kick fully through the target which is kind of hard cause your momentum is greatly decreased... but thanks for the video.
