Why don't you just get Unregistered Hypercam or something like that. It is a really good recorder that records audio and pretty sure it goes forever, although in the top lefthand corner you get the same sort of thing as ZD, but big deal we are looking at your great videos anyways :)

I use Camtasia, which isn't free, but it's a great program that comes with a recorder, and editor plus tons more, might wanna check it out
