its pretty simple really, car= more grip+more weight = better braking and faster on slow/ braking corners, bike= lighter+ insane power:weight= faster rolling acceleration and faster on flowing fast corners. and the more advanced you get the more clearer the difference is seen, eg: f1 car can get off the line and brake harder than most earthly machines using rubber wheels, and moto gp bike would have a power to weight ratio second to probably the only machine that can outrun earth's gravity!!!

There's nothing on 4 wheels keeps up with me, I've raced most things from the lights, WRX, EVO, AMG 55, RS6, Focus rally. And I've always left them 4 dust. A car can simply has more grip, period and more usuable power due to the way power is delivered, weight distribution and wheel base.

Carbon carbon brakes, SMG gearboxes and especially construction materials and manufacturing techniques from F1 are all available on DOT legal cars. The difference is that supersport/superstreet machines are purpose built - no car is except maybe the Ariel Atom, Caparo T1 and some other exotic hardware. There's no market for purpose built cars, but it doesn't mean they cannot be built and priced competitively.

I have an 06 R6, MJS Headers (custom midpipe delete) to a Grave MotoGP megaphone and PC3, no map. It runs a 12.2 trapping at 110. I have an '06 WRX STi, Cobb Stage2 BPU w/ custom map, runs 12.5@109.

@TheM0rbidangel You don't need cubes, you need mean effective pressure. Typically, oversquare engines achieve this better because they both have higher MEP's and can deliver high engine speeds. The exception is at motorcycle engine speeds (14K+) where smaller bores help speed combustion processes which limit large bore engines from approximating isentropic expansion during the power stroke.

There is no quarter ET or 0-60 time / dollar that is the ultimate measurement of any vehicle.

@TheM0rbidangel There are other areas too that bikes cannot perform like cars. Not even a MotoGP bike can stop as quickly as an average sports car with all season or summer tires. With track compound brake pads (not expensive, but not DOT legal, either) and a decent rotor, you can have braking power far exceeding anything on two wheels all day at the track. And braking is very important to turning in quick lap times.

My point is, neither one is better, they are just different.
