  • Very nice job

  • @sarevor Thanks! I appreciate your watching and taking the time to leave your thoughts.

  • OMG your Michael McDonald was spot on, good job! :)

  • @Babyhowdy233 Thank you again! I also do a vocal of a different Doobies song on another post but cover Tom Johnston (Without Love) on that one. Trying to get to everyone who's anyone, even if I don't always hit the mark. Look for more new voices within a week or two. :) Thanks for the comments!

  • I LOVE that you did Todd(and a GREAT impression too I might add)! I wonder why more comedians and impressionists don't do Rungren?

  • @Babyhowdy233 Thanks, Baby! I've always loved Todd's tunes and do hope to weave him into another upload soon. Not sure why he's overlooked by some entertainers but not in my book.

  • Great job with Sting!

  • @imlavernesmom Thanks! I am surprised that a few others also thought the same thing. I love Sting with or without the Police and rarely try to cover him since I consider him a tough voice to copy. I may attempt another cover soon (ex Desert Rose) or even lay down a parody I've written based on his hit; "Fields of Gold". Glad you liked this one!

  • You should try an Eric Clapton impression...i just know it would come out perfect.

  • @Rockmasterbf94 Thanks for the vote of confidence, rockmaster! Actually, I've already posted a tiny bit of Clapton (Lay Down Sally) in one of my past uploads and half of Wonderful Tonight on another. Please feel free to check either out and let me know if I was in the ballpark. Oh yeah, and I hope you at least enjoyed a few voices from this bunch.

  • You nailed THE BOB!

  • @glimmerman108 I thought it was a pretty decent rip myself. More Dylan on the horizon when time allows, hopefully incorporating his distinctive look as well. Hope you'll check it out once it's posted. Best, Stew

  • My God! Your voices are spot on! Impressive!

  • @stevefah Thank you, Steve! I'm happy that you stumbled upon my posts and can see that you've already left several other comments. I appreciate all the feedback!

  • @ajapaneseman Thank you! I may be covering another Sting song on a future post so I hope you'll check it out.

  • Accidentally I watched your video and really enjoyed of your voice. Forever is one of the best song i've ever heard, and you did a nice job singin' it.

Keep on singing because your voice is wonderful.

    Congratulations from Brazil.

  • @BritoMB Thank you! I'm sure most of the people who find my videos here do so by accident but hopefully most of them like what they hear. I've got over 40 posts up already with more on the way so please feel free to have a listen and leave a comment on any others. I noticed you like Bryan Adams-- he's on my list of artists requests that I still have to get to. Best wishes from the US!

  • @themanof1000voices Actually the name of music is Time. I 've confused Forever with Time. I usually confuse these names and i don't know why.

Yeaah, I like Bryan Adams and the most of the 80's and 70's bands. Bye!

  • Wow! I hadn't heard such a talented voice in a very long time. You're bound to go along way with that voice man.

  • Thanks very much for the great compliments! I hope to be posting more stuff soon and always welcome feedback, especially the really nice kind. ;)

  • Hi Stew...Just found your vids today and listened to every one of them. You are absolutely incredible. I sense you could do a bang up job of matching the vocal range of Ron Tabak.....the lead singer of a great 70's era Canadian band called Prism. I doubt they got much airtime in the US, but they put out some fantastic hits. If interested in doing something from them, I'd suggest any of the following songs: Spaceship Superstar, Flyin', Young and Restless, or Take Me Away. Thanks for the vids.

  • So glad you thought enough of my vocals to check out all of my videos here. How much do I owe you? ;) Been under the weather lately but I do plan to post more stuff when time allows. Ironically, I was in a college band years ago called Prism. And, while I'm not familiar with the Canadian band, I'd be happy to attempt a cover of theirs if I can find some of their tunes. Til then, thanks so much for the really nice comments! Canada rocks!! Stew

  • Had I somehow managed to message Mick Jagger and received an instant reply from he himself, as I did from you, it is not likely that I would have been awed to any greater degree. You are smokin' good! Hope you get feelin better real soon and also that you enjoy some of the many clips of Prism on youtube. I think you'd also do a heckuva good job with Gerry Rafferty's Baker Street. Thanks so much for your reply and keep on rockin'! Pete in Canada

  • Hey Pete in Canada,

Would have written back sooner but just caught two straight nights of Paul McCartney here in Boston and Coldplay just before that. I'm honored that you think so highly of my vocals that you'd put me in a category with SIr Mick but big thanks for that! I've actually met Mick once but, truth be told, Ronnie Wood was the friendliest of the group. Meanwhile, I'll have to check out Prism here and add "Baker Street" to my request list. Rock on... Stew

  • Your Graham Nash isn't bad....

  • Thank you. Coming from someone who's obviously a huge fan of his, I'll take that as a compliment. CSN was one of my very first concerts decades ago. I've always loved Graham's vocals and had to throw in at least a token sample of one of their better known songs. Maybe next time I cover them, I'll advance to the 'pretty good' stage. Thanks for listening!

  • Well, you certainly are pretty good in general! Have a great week

Well, you're pretty good in general; keep up the great work! Have a super week! Elizabeth aka 'It's All About Nash'

  • GARTH??? PARTY ON GARTH..

  • Party on Wayne.

  • a million times better than man w a million voices

  • A million thanks for the endorsement, Ziggy!

  • Hey you its your hot sister in law from Ohio want to tell you amazing job. Babe I hope you bring it to the top. U Rock............

  • Stew, you really do have a fantastic voice. I really liked your choices of songs and artists, too. If you would take your show on the road, I'd be first in line!

  • Thanks Janet! If and when I ever get my act together, my subscribers will have first dibs on front row & backstage passes. lol. On a side note; I think you may have asked me to cover Steve Winwood at some point(?). Should be in my next upload if you're interested. As always, thanks for the really nice comments! Stew

  • I'm really looking forward to your Steve Winwood. So glad you didn't forget! I loved your Sting too - great job! Let me know if/when/where you are appearing in Michigan!

    Thanks!

  • I have had the privilege of having this very talented performer play at our Halloween party and New Year's Eve party. He's had the privilege of performing before the Queen! LOL

He is truly even more talented in person and anyone that gets to see him perform live is in for a superb treat!

Unfortunately, Mr. Man of 1000 voices moved away from our area and everytime I see a new video, it makes us miss him even more!

    Keep 'em coming!!!!

  • Thanks for the over the top endorsement, your majesty! I'll surely miss not playing at this year's howling Halloween bash. Once you've performed before royalty, everything else just pales in comparison. ;)

  • Thanks, strat. I do have originals but, in my advanced age, I decided that my best shot at making it was ripping off covers as a vocal impersonator. Just wish I had the budget for costumes/hair & make-up to enhance the overall act. I may end up posting an original or two someday. Right now, I'm still working on a comprehensive "history of rock" upload that will start in the 50s and go from there, touching on most of the best bands of each decade. Hope you'll check it out when it's done. Peace!

  • Good one man! I personally was impressed with the Doobies. Michael McDonald had to be a challenge but you nailed it. Thanks!

  • You're right, ski. McDonald was definitely a challenge since his voice is so very distinct. I had done part of another Doobies song on an earlier upload but it was a Tom Johnston vocal (Long Train Running). Someone requested Michael McDonald so I tried to honor that. Glad you thought I nailed it, thanks! Stew

  • In the words of the Beach Boys: God only knows. Nice of you to ask but I'm not sure it would be such a big seller. Lots of gold & platinum records out there. Mine might make zinc or even copper. lol. Actually, I'd be concerned more about copyright infringement than anything else if I were to put out a 'strictly covers' CD. But I never say never. Maybe an underground version will surface one day. ;) thanks!

  • Very good selection of cover. CS&N and APP are my favourite, but probably Limelight was better than Time, but it's only my opinion. Waitin' for more stuff and thank you as always!

  • Thanks, my Italian friend. Not sure I know APP's Limelight but I used to sing a Rush song by that title. I almost opted for their "Don't answer me" tune but Time has always been my personal favorite. I do appreciate your comments. Next post will include covers by Frampton, the Cars, Skynyrd, ELO, Grateful dead, Kinks, the Boxtops and the Cure. Some by request, others just for kicks. Back to work here. Ciao!

  • Very good! I enjoyed it quite a bit, and I'll bet you could do well with this show live. Do you perform live?

  • "Mr. Gower? It's, it's me... George Bailey!" Sorry, I used to do a pretty good Jimmy Stewart impersonation and couldn't resist. Very pleased that you liked the post. I've got tons of other voices here so feel free to check 'em out and leave feedback if you like. To your question-- yes, I do perform live but not regularly anywhere. I'm fine tuning my act and thinking of taking it to casinos on the east coast or maybe even America's Got Talent. Maybe. Thanks, jg. Stew

  • I know every Beatles song ever written by heart but hold their songs in such high regard that I tend to be too critical of myself when I try to cover them. I did post a bit of "Michelle" in one prior upload but will have to devote myself to an entire medley of Beatles songs one of these days. Often times, the backing vocals are as hard to get right as the lead one. Still, I/we can work it out. ;) Thanks for the kind words on this one! Stew themanof1000voices (head in a cloud).

  • Awesome job man! Hey, give yourself more credit, your Sting voice is pretty friggin' good! Keep em' coming.

  • Thanka for saying so. Sting is a tough vocal to emulate but since it was a request (and I love the Police), I decided to go for it. I just hope no one asks me to sing Celine Dion or I'm in big trouble. As always, thank you for the encouragement. I'll keep 'em coming as long as there's an audience willing to listen. ;)

  • love it man! great work.

  • Cool. Always feels good to get positive feedback for the first comment. Thanks for that! More on the horizon... Stew
