  • hey heres how to do a spin move

  • An offensive tackle would never step towards a DE on a pass play

  • alright first of all the o-line looks like a db and second of all the offensive lineman would never take a step TOWARDS the DE on a pass play

  • @Nukeman81, I'm a 6'4 225(;

  • @theelijah1009 .. Yall need to learn how to spell

  • It's crap he know witch way he's trying to block him + if it's a pass the HB will be right there to block him

  • hah i would blow both of them up lol im 230 6ft1 and a freshmen in highschool hah ....

  • whats up with #9 the 7th year senior?

  • needs a lil coordination

  • Yall need to stop hateing on these people

  • I play d end and in my opinion the best way to get through the o line and to attack their back field is to line up on an strong outside shade on the tackle or tightend and to sprint pass their shoulder so that the only way they can block you is to hold you. If you're quick enough you will be able to get passed his body before he can get into a good position to block you.

  • it looks like the defender threw him ahah

  • I want to be against that team if i could i would drill that d end on that spin move

  • Also a linebacker can use the spin move just not a defensive end. Because I play linebacker at UCLA and our linebacker coaches teach us the spin and etc.....

  • @jster250 yah, sure you do

  • Ok either the coach is really short of the defensive end is tall as hell

  • 1) that was the worst excuse for a full speed spin move I've ever seen. And I play college football currently.

    2) No O-lineman that is worth ANYTHING (the starters will be good) is ever gonna let you step to his inside and then spin out.

    Horrible video.

  • spin is so fucking riskyy.

  • And the passer is called the QB(99% of the time)

  • this video and the others are the worst how to football videos ever...... wooow

  • -______________- that was crappy

  • dang that guys spin is whack if anyone pulled his way he would be destroyed

  • and he just gives him his chest

  • they should have put this spin will only work on people 4'10 and below

  • Gayyyyy! probly the worst coach anyone could have.

  • Shittiest spinmove ever.

  • thts not how u spin...

  • First of all the blocker had in side grab on his pads any good tackle would drive him out

Second he had his back out in the hole so as soon as he turn around the back would kick him out

Our coach taught us to fake inside to rip then spin out

  • terrible spin and terrible block

  • as DE is have never gone up against someone that small, these videos are garbage all the o-line men i have to go through are 250lb+ bs video

  • This is a horrible coach. First of all you just took yourself out of the play. Second of all you never spin on a run play. Thas a torn ACL right there. And third of all your standing straight up

  • i tried spinning once during a game and it was raining and i fell so im dramatized and like... i havent done it in 5 games ONCE.

  • The worst spin move ever. Dwight Freeney needs to come teach these guys a lesson on the spin.

  • note to self do not buy this crappy video

that spin move was off balance and takes him out of the play

  • he didnt even do spin move right

  • he didnt even do it right

  • Y is the d linemen 2 times the size of that olinemen

  • I'm a DE and I'm tought to never do the spin move.

  • @jizzz69 u only do it if ur rush the linemen past the quarterback, or if u have to o linemen committed to one side

  • @jizzz69 Who is teaching you is doing the right thing. at this level you should never take your eyes off the play.

  • fuck any o line would recover then pop that kid in the jaw..

  • #9's last name looks like genitals... rofl

  • they fucking suck ass they would never paly for me and did you see that weak ass huamen dummy lol pussys thats what isay

  • this guy looks fuckin tall..he made college?

  • hahahahahh worst spin move i have ever seen. i fake by stepping in 1st, then spin outward.. works every time.

  • WORST SPIN EVER

  • @Zuneowner im pretty sure u do it worse

  • He did do it wrong...ur supposed to spin outside then towards the QB or the RB he ran 10 yards past the QB

  • im a who plays football at program and i am a end and this helps me be the best.

  • @marcustank11 no it doesnt this is he worst excuse for a spin move that ive ever seen...1st of all the spin moves only effective occasionally in passing plays second of all he was way too high (you need to sink nd the blockers arms out with yours by swinging them back and that gives you momentum too

  • lmao when i found this out on my own i had bin goin up agaisnt the hardest guy and he would fall and hit the ground and he would be so mad cus im like hella new to football and hes bin makin all-stars for like 8 years now

  • i do that and it sometimes works

  • did anyone notice how the olineman looks like a db? He would never be on the field as a line man

  • @ChiimuZaRen hence the number 81

  • @ChiimuZaRen I was a CB last season and done some DE stuff during official football matches. Ironically I was never on the field as CB or a FS. Coaches trust me to hit large people than to stop Receivers. And I'm only 5'6 and 141 lbs.

  • @ChiimuZaRen sooo its just showing u

  • that would never work

  • i did it in a game today and i actually got a sack. dwight freeney also uses it often

  • it would not be that easy i play defensive end and the o linemen in high school would know how to defend that right away the best move is the chop block in my opinion but this would for sure not work in high school!

  • the hell was that?

the d end ran like 15 yards into the backfield...

pretty sure thats not where the qb is...

  • bull shit a good O-line wouldnt turn his shoulderz

  • in a pass...a O-linemen does turn his shoulders

  • ya but a good O-line on a pas wouldnt b movin on u like that his would b movin back

  • oh..i see what you mean..i just saw how he moved..he did it all wrong!

  • the OL guy is like 4ft tall

  • i defensive end in high school and i now play offensive line in college this move does work on over aggressive offensive linemen but one think if you wanna play defensive end i think hand position and body lean would be the most important things to learn...

  • that suck omg

  • if u r playing agenst a guy thAT goes all out and trys to moe you over and keeps his head down then you want to do like a swim dodge but you have to make sure that they don't just nail you when ur exposed and then you can switch it up if it works

  • That was the worst attempt at a spin move I've ever seen. He needs to get a lot lower initially and sink his ass as he takes the initial drop step with the spin.

And don't get me started on that coach. Why would you come in with an all-out spin move if you might be playing the run? Ever heard of gap responsibilities? The only time you would come all out with a spin like that is if it was 3rd and long. The spin works best as a secondary pass rush move anyway, in my experience.

  • LOL dude you try to spend and as soon as you do that tackle is going to blow you up

  • i dont think this work, the guy go out to higher, even the qb can kick his little ass!!!

  • the guy needs to get some bigger lineman if he is gonna have a team

  • I play DE i'm small in height but i'm built as and quick to i bet could get around any blocker

  • i wish he would try that on me lol he would be on the turf befor he knew what hit him

  • thats shit!!!

  • this move should never work a good offensive lineman will just pesh your back if he was actually trying this move is more of last resort

  • Haha all of you guys are stupid the spin move might be the most effective pass rushing move there is lol have any of you heard of dwight freeney?!

  • The guy didn't even try to block. They suck

  • I play D end and an useful tip is whenever an O line men try's to put his hands on you swat em down as hard as you can..more effective if their not wearing gloves and you have long nails..

  • that spins sucked ass..can you say pancake?? you can use your arms dumbass to make the spin effective hes trying to use the fact that his back is turn so the lineman will stop o-line lay off and wait for your move most of the time you have to watch the stance to know what they are gonna do and you dont think you react thats how the line works anybody who says diffrent doesnt know football and can seen me a personal message saying why im going on my 6 year of football high and college

  • The key to a successful spin is to force the lineman to really commit to blocking you to the side you are making your primary move (I prefer the rip). Once the blocker has defeated the primary move, plant your inside foot, grab the blocker's outside arm, pull the blocker outward, while spinning into the blocker (like a violent basketball post position move), get your feet upfield toward the QB in a hurry and try to slap the blocker's back with your non-ripping hand when you come around.

  • I love the rip to and awesome tip...you can also try and rip to contain and spin back inside

  • "try to slap the blocker's back" old ball coach use to say "throw the ice pick in the tackles back." Don't forget that you have to reach with the spin leg or you're going to just spin like a top and wind up right in front of the tackle.

  • Good point about "slapping the back". My original attempt at posting was limited by the number of words I could use. I've never heard the "ice pick" example, but I may use it in the future!

  • all you guys are talking about how easy it is to beat the spin move. then why has dwight freeney beat pratically every o-lineman he has lined up against with it.

  • if 81 ever plays tackle in a competative football game where the score is kept the coachs need to be executed

  • he isn't going full speed

  • stupid there doing drills

  • good blocking form much?

  • he could get hit from the side if he doesnt do that fast enough

  • this is a bad spin move, he doesn't throw an elbow. if you try to spin like that the olineman will hit you right in the kidneys

  • nice outside containment is key i have the strength for bullrush cause of my size and my power but im more of finesse anyone want to talk football i always wanted to help people out and im always willing to learn what i love

  • Im 5'7'' and 130 lbs and play defensive end. Which move would be more affective for me?

  • Your low in weight so i suggest a kind of fake step inside and then juke out and use your speed.

  • how old are you kus if your that small and over sixteen i wouldnt be looking for moves i wuld be looking for a new position

  • I am 15 but I already switched positions

  • that was a terrible spin.

  • i spin all the time. it works good when you get cut off like that but when you are rushing the quater back you always spin from the opposite shoulder to are attacking. kind of hard to explain

  • Fuccen weak

not a good spin move Lazy ass use ur elbows to push him off when u almost done spinning.

    I Prefer Rips.

They Work better..If u got that strong punch then ur all good baby. WOOOOOOOOO!!!!

  • Yeah if you spin standing straight up like that and not using ur arms you're gonna get lit up by the fullback when you get through the line. Rips do work a lot better IMO.

  • I think the spin move better suits defensive players in passing situations...

  • ya its pretty much preference or wat ur coach is teaching you. I perfer rips, they take a lot less time IMO.

  • spins moves never work, they take too long the quarterback will easily throw the ball before you get there. Most of the stuff on this channel is shit.

  • Tell Dwight Freeney that...

  • hes a pro

  • Spin moves always "work" if they're set up properly through out a game.

  • you are dumb. spin moves work all the time. you just have to be good at it. i can beat every o-linemen on my team with the spin move.

  • yeah sure kid Im dumb. All a good olineman has to do is delay that spin or put you off balance a little bit and the quarterback will have plenty of time to throw the ball. It takes around 3 seconds for the qb to throw the ball on an average play. A spin is a very unbalanced move and all the lineman must do is make you stumble and you will not make the sack. A rip move is much quicker and better.

  • Spin moves are easy to beat.

  • i know all you have to do is push up on the shoulder of their shoulder pads to screw them up. my coach told me to use that on offensive line, and never spin on defensive line

  • Where is this being filmed?

  • remember you can't be off balance because you won't know wat the heck is going on the tackle willl gain control and push you out the way that was''n a goog spin dnt knw why he said good

  • Never work. The defender must sell the rip/undercut and then spin using the o lineman for leverage and always gaining ground or you will just spin in place. Also, a good o lineman may spin also to combat this move.

  • Naw, a good o-lineman would punch that outside shoulder the defensive end in the spin. Good technique and hand placement can stop the spin, though (e.g. Orlando Pace).

  • that works some times. but not when you are as good as spinning as me. high school o-linemen cant really stop the spin that well because they dont see it that often

  • This is my specialty move i perfect it almost every time :)

  • look at the size difference jesus just kinda push him over lol

  • hehe i did that once
