@bristolcityifcation On behalf of my retarded bristolian friend i apologise to cardiff as a city in whole. This keyboard warrior needs to realise music has nothing to do with football. Motorcycle Emptiness is definately one of the best songs of the 90s.
fuck the soul crew come to bristol and get done u know it we know it CSF RUN U ALL THE TIME YOUR NOTHING REMEMBER WHEN WE COME OVER AND DONE THE PHILLANMORNIC!!!!! SEE U THIS SEASON SHEEP SHAGGERS YOUR NOTHING!!
Love this gig. It's strange because this seems like yesterday, but I'm seeing them at Derby Assembly Rooms today, the venue must be 1/20th of the size. Still the best live band in the country.
Woof. This is such an amazingly impressive live performance of a great song. Thanx for posting! Though being dutch I needed a dictionary to understand what he was singing about. Strange words. And if I'd be their manager I'd kick the base player out of this group. He kills the line up on stage. Horribly dressed up in pink (yawn) like a weird, not completely finished transsexual in his transformation process. But the leadsinger and drummer are awesome and not a strain to look at!
U moet weten iets over de band voordat je zeggen. Nicky Wire is ongelooflijk belangrijk voor de band, en hij schrijft de meeste van hun songs. Individualiteit op het podium is geen slechte zaak.
you said it... I can barely stand up and play guitar.
DId Manic Stret Preachers headline this concert? because that is a huge crowd. In the states people have scarcely heard of them. They sound like a really good band
they are as good now as they ever were but music has moved on to shitty dance etc, so they are no where near as popular now and barely any people my age (15) know of them. They are not that well known or liked in america probably due to their very anti-american early stuff and the fact they did a gig in cuba, no reason that reflects their musical ability or style in any way.
aww this was historic, i wanna go back in time, 2000 begun at the end of this song, it was broadcast all over the world, i wanna go bac to the 90's...
I got into the manics a couple of years back and they've stayed my absolute fave band ever, and i really wish id got into them sooner so i could experience events like this, its pretty emotinal song, along with the enthusiastic crowd, this video is perfect x
toadape... I'm sorry man but if you were at that gig you would know that the audience absolutely loved it. The audience interaction was spot on (for such a big venue) and as for the manics today.. they are no where near as powerful as they were even years before this gig. I suppose once you reach a certain status the performance becomes a form of theatre. Hence the manics will probably never return to their days in the Blackwood Miners Institute.
I cant agree with you! alltough it is a good song and this live version is good. Its nothing compares to what they are doing now. THIS version is by far more epic since it is on such larger scale. but the band has no real chemistry towards the audience wich makes it a little less to care about. That was manics biggest problem around 2000-2005. They had trouble connecting to the crowd. They just sang and left the stage...
3:37 - but where are they now I wonder?

5:10 for why James Dean Bradfield is my favourite guitar player of all time (and yes, I'm familiar with Hendrix, Page, Clapton, Beck and Gilmour).

@182sid182 Nah he's not gay. It's just a traditional act he puts on at most concerts where he dresses in drag for luls.

not necessary to be known in th US to be an excellent group... for sure, they were the headliner. The concert was in their homecountry Wales...
