If you ask me, I would tell you there is not more danger in Dubai for example than in Spain or England. I have been to Turkey (it is not arab but still muslim) and it is a lovely country, although there are bombings sometimes in Istanbul too. I have been there 4 times and nothing happened to me...yet:)

I would say its harder to play but not to sing. Singing in Arabic is like reciting poetry from the heart. There is this natural fluidity which makes the breathing easier, leading to a better resonance.
