@akkanundrum Your guitar should be able to handle it. If my shitty Special II Epiphone can handle a tuning half a step lower than this with old mid ghs's, I'm sure you can take Dropped C#. Try using a chromatic tuner and then toy with fifths by ear till it sounds right.

to get really good distortion out of his pedal switch to the 7th setting and turn your leval knob just above the quarter notch and going right turn the next one just above half way and the one after that at 3/4. This pedal is a shit load of fun when you use it right, I use mainly the distortion and the sitar effect and you can whip out Killswitch, As I lay Dying, and Lamb of God type stuff very effectively

He has a singnature pedal by Digitech called "The Weapon". They are still in some local/small stores and on eBay and similar sites, but as for the big stores like Guitar Center, they no longer have any. And the pedal actually has a "Stupify" setting on it.

It doesn't have a "Stupify" setting on it, I own, its a fantastic pedal. The setting your refering to is setting one which is a high gain distortion which he used for his song, or the sitar effect, which he also used in Ten Thousand Fists. But it is a great peice of kit for a guitarist, great effects in there.

weird...cuz its weird for strings to break while tuning it down...most of the time the break when you tune them too high...or the strings just suck...i also use d'addario xl nickel wound strings...and my strings havent break in since i got them like in october last year(i havent play much lately but still)...those atrings are really good and long lasting....make sure your not tuning it too high instead of lowering the tune

So many discussions about the tuning:) Almost all of his songs are drop c sharp he says. So I do believe the inside the fire is also drop C sharp. He says the c sharp is the lowest tuning he would go just "concerning" the diferent overall tunnings. "Inside" each one of them obviously he can go a little more sharp or flat I believe:) Little details 8-)But if we listen to the 6th string sound we can be shure wich tunning is each song:)

You´re right on the button rich 8789. I´ve just tuned my guitar to the songs and the others are drop C sharp, inside the fire is drop C. I´m from Portugal and here we use bemol and sutenido words to talk about sharps and flats, so I got a little confused.

Now I understand what he meant: C is lower than C sharp, that´s why he says he doesn´t go lower than C. For example C flat is even lower than C, so he won´t go there. No I understand;)
