I would disagree. I always wait for SP1 to buy the latest Win OS, but I've installed 7 builds now ( a coincidence on 7) and I've beta tested 2 other previous OS from M$, and this one is it, trust me.

I'll buy my first WinOS, on day one, it's that good. I've been using it on a $600 HP G60 laptop, and it's fast and stable. And it's not even RC yet. I'll be making a video on my 5 month review of Windows 7 Beta soon

I think you can get OS10 to have moving background. Ask ThisIThis he'll be able to show you how its done.

You can have similar effect on OS X by setting the your screensaver as the background. It involves using the Terminal and doesn't stay like that so not nearly as easy to use as Dreamscene.
