When you where filming this, you should have turned your camera to the sun and held it for a minute and then turned it back to the object you where filming. Just sayin...

I checked in Stellarium and at 09.41 on the East Side of the US the Sun was 30 degrees south of East at about 45 degrees up from the horizon but in that video you stated that the Sun was in the southern sky which is impossible as the Sun would not reach the South untill about 12.30 at its highest point!
this is a lot people on here in denial, that is not the sun or moon, like he said the sun is to bright to file with a glare, and there is no full moon, the full moon was sept. 12, 2011, i take picture of the sun all the time and they always have a glare or coming out wrong, and when you video the sun, it will overload the video sensors and cause a pink line or really bad glares without a very dark filter, which i can tell he is not useing. So now the question is, 'what is it?' Thanks for sharing that, I've seen a few vids on here the past few days that are showing something at the side of the sun, so this could possibly be what I've been seeing on other channels. Someone's gonna come along now and say it's Venus or Mercury, you watch : )
