  • Are you plotting another Les Paul tribute at the Roxy ?????

  • @Joyjoy1818 haha, by now you know we did a little blast of it in my song,

"I Found You" live at the Roxy with some high school kids on marching drums walkin in the crowd ~

  • Wow this is really good!

  • i no its a crime for me to forget the name of this song but its start at about :50

  • @BassPedal2009 it's Johnny B Goode

  • @BassPedal2009 , no at :50 it's "Satisfaction" by the Stones.

  • @brianrayguitar thanks! glad you like it.. we had a blast and it was exciting to arrange, play on and produce it too.. check out my new free solo downloads at brianray.com! best, B

  • @brianrayguitar it is? i thought "Satisfaction" started at 1:07. Oh well, whatever it was it rocked.

  • @rockerr12595 dude, sorry! that is the "chorus" of the first song, Johnny B good.. d'oh

  • Hahahaha, thanks, good question.. The other guy was there first! No worries, I would play nose flute just to be in the band, haha! I play lead on Letting Go, Get Back, The End and All My Lovin'.. thx B

  • Brian Ray...why are you playing rhythm guitar for Paul McCartney and not lead?

  • @rockerr12595 plus, I get to play bass on hald of the songs, which is really fun. :-()

  • @brianrayguitar haha nice, do you know if you guys are going to announce any more dates?

  • @rockerr12595 hmmmm, nothing official but check in at my site, sign up for news.. spam free, I promise u.

  • @brianrayguitar k cool

  • @brianrayguitar - HaHa!! Some dumb F**k marked your reply as spam.

@dumbf**k The guitarist featured in this video was asked when he would be playing any more dates and he says to check his website. I think that's fair, dumbf**k.

  • @debjorgo hahahah, fair it is, thx! only cuz I don't rememeber my dates.. OCT 8th at the Roxy in LA or Sept 30th at the Mint in LA, both at 8 pm!

  • Awesome performance !! Can't believe I missed it ..

  • What was the song after the led zepp?

  • @chinesecantdrive "Surrender" by Cheap Trick, godfathers of power pop! that's the writer and guitarist of the band on my right in the video, Rick Nielsen.. thanks B

  • @brianrayguitar Thanks man. By the way I saw McCartney in toronto on the Sunday.......needless to say one of the greatest shows I've ever seen!

  • Whoa!

  • Loved the inflatable guitars!!!!

  • wow the dolphins pet knows how to play!!

  • Why am I just now seeing this? My Beatles connection isn't all it should be, I guess.

I'm just now listening to Brian's last album, Mondo Magneto. I'm liking it. I just kind of quick sampled each track when I first downloaded it. It seemed a little too pop at the time but I think I'm going to like it, listening to it turned up, blasting from my car.

  • @debjorgo thanks man! the new one just came out! check it out, it's bigger louder fast and better, hahaha!

  • @brianrayguitar I was going to pick your new album up. Your web page still says available very very soon and Amazon says it's out of stock.

I was going for the hard disc. I like cds the way you like(d) your vinyl.

  • @debjorgo - I figured it out. I have the new disc now. You have to click on the free download and then it gives you the oportunity to order the album.

  • The girl guitarist is Mickeal jackson's guitarist even if he died :( RIP

  • The only thing I don't like about Orianthi is the "Buckethead" face she keeps all the time.

  • Brian Ray is a good guitarist- he plays for Paul McCartney so you know hes good

  • This is a Great Tribute in honor of the Legendary Les Paul. He would be proud. BTW, you are an excellent guitar player. No wonder Paul McCartney chose you to be in his band. I am so glad he did. Thanks.

  • @yerblues1968 hey thanks yerblues! we had a blast doing this tribute for the charity for Music in Schools .. glad you dug it, stay tuned for my new album this summer "This Way Up"

  • The coolest thing ever!!!! Go Brian Ray, go!!!

  • is anyone on the field actually playing??

  • @BassPedal2009 I was thinking the same thing.. And I actually don't think Rick, Brian or Orianthi are even playing live..Not that they couldn't.. I think it's just a pre-recorded track that you hear..There's no mic's on any of the guitar amps, which kind of confirms that..

  • @fatbackfunk ARE YOU SERIOUS???!!!??? Brian Ray is one the guitarists that tours with Paul McCartney!! I just saw him and paul a few days ago in concert. He's got mad guitar skills along with rusty anderson.

  • @gochisox4696 Am I serious about how they're playing to tracks? or perhaps you misinterpreted or misread what I wrote? not sure.. Maybe you thought I meant they "weren't" capable of playing live? I could be wrong. Just thought I'd clarify just in case :) Anyhoo... yeah both Brian & Rusty are stellar players.. Awesome bass player(Brian) too.I've been fans of them and the rest of that band ever since they joined PM.. You should check out Brian's 1st solo record if you haven't already..

  • @fatbackfunk Those amps don't have a "line out" capability? Or could they be using a DI?

  • Comment removed

  • @mazsenior@mazsenior Well I'm pretty sure those Marshall's don't have any DI out.. and the guitars are plugged directly into the front of the amps as opposed to guitar>DI box>Amp..And I suppose you could go line out. But I doubt they're doing that.. It's just the production, the guitars sonically just really don't sound live. And a definite give away is right after 4:11 Rick is playing as if he's soloing but you don't hear any guitar.. It's really not uncommon to sync on these types of shows.

  • @fatbackfunk Thanks. I'd hate to think I'd made any assumptions about the live sound production without even being there. The bigger "giveaway" though, is the monitors....unless a few of them are wireless...LOL

  • Love it. :D

  • what is the song at 1:50 ? I here it so often but I dont know the title .

  • @huzza18 Whole Lot Of Love - Led Zeppelin
