My dad back in 1971 had two 1953 Chevy Belair's. One hardtop and one two door post. The hard top had a 394 Olds in it that someone put in it back in 1961. The other, It had a 55 Buick Nail head in it that was put in it back in 1956. Back in those days Olds & Buick engines were the ticket to speed.
dude thats so sick! i got a 1964 olds 98 with a 394 that im rebuilding curently, urs sounds like mine when i cut off my exhaust in front of the rear tires i honestly would keep them that way if it wasent for waking up everyone on that side of town when i turned it on... have u found any good places to buy parts for the 394 engine?
Try Egge machine company they have lots of parts for vintage engines. The people who work there really know what they are doing. I have a 62 dynamic with a 394 too
Well i was puming it, i always hit it a few times before starting. it was sjut that at this point, it was the middle of January and the car had been sitting a few months. Cold weather+ few months sitting= difficulty starting
