@guitar1884 good luck with that ok it's every kids dream but braggers don't make it to the bigs.... If any one lives in Indy go to roundtrippers baseball academy they teach u everything about hitting pitching etc. And everyone that works there plays professional ball
Hey Buddy I got news for you, you have no idea what the swing is. And look for you in the MLB? Haha your lucky if u make the junior varsity high school baseball team. So pretty much your a bitch
ur swing isnt right. im 15 nd i know wht the right swing is. ur back leg is to stiff when u finish. and ur not bringing ur hands inside the baseball ur going around. and your front foot goes towards the plate when u finish causing u to lock ur hips and not generate enough power, im 15 nd know more than u. look for me in the mlb in about 8 yrs, Tanner Blankenship
Congratulations at looking at his swing and telling him what doesn't look right. You have in no way addressed how this movement should be produced in order to maximize power. You discussed nothing about how the mind functions, nor did you address mind is movement, body is the manifestation of movement.
Please, why don't you retry your post since you seem so aware and explain to everyone how movement should be produced to make a swing that looks exactly like an elite MLB hitter.

well the video is ok well when he says when he plants his foot down will give you enough time to react well thats ok but what if its coming in 96 mph fastball you will not have enough time to react
Actually if you study major league hitters, they all very in their stance and load, but once the swing starts virtually ALL of them have the exact same mechanics...will prove it if you dont believe me.
The same thing goes with almost all high school and college athletes. Same thing with amateur athletes.
Go ask an S-Class elite hitter one day (If you get the chance) what makes them the best in the world and they won't be able to tell you. They might say mechanics or whatever, but that's what all hitters seem to work on..but most hitters don't make it. Thus, modern mechanical training isn't the answer. They were also likely elite hitters before even stumbling upon mechanics.
@persinator2003 No, not really. In a sense, yes, your correct, and I understand what you're saying and what you're getting at. It's more like no matter what they do to stride, load, etc, they all come to the same point before their swing.
you know who else upper-cuts? Teixiera. And he's an MVP! Guys, there's no one right way to do it. Just look at the MLB, half the swings are ugly as hell. So see ball, hit ball hard. Be confident. How's that for the ol K.I.S.S. rule?
btw you realize that you uppercut on your swing, I realize that that isn't the lesson here, but if you want to teach people, at least get the proper swing, don't uppercut, that will pop up and you will be caught out in a game, so swing straght, because the people you are teaching will follow you exactly to the best of their ability, they will copy that uppercut

You dont teach very much do you? I work out of a baseball facility. I do this everyday. I learned from a bunch of players I grew up watching on TV and right now I have a 7 yr old who is 20 for 26 so far this summer.. so you were saying what about working with children???
Easier way to put everything you just said.... get your front foot down early. The load/step with front foot is a timing mechanism. You should also do a segment on keeping your weight back and letting your hips come through with your swing. Your back leg is straight every time you swing on all of your videos. You should fix that.
the way he said it is about 50 times simpler than the way you wrote a paragraph about it. I like to follow the old K.I.S.S. rule (Keep It Simple Stupid) Especially for a child when you start saying load/step to an 8 year old he's like what the blank is that..lol

Its not mechanics that produces an elite hitter, its how movement is created. Not what movement appears to be to sight.
