If you look a lil bit closer, you´ll see that many punches of Gamboa have not been seen by the judges. But i also have to say that it´s very difficult to count every punch because he´s so damn fast.

I also think that he is one of the biggest talents within the last decade. But he really has to improve his defensive skills, if you look at his last fight... if he continues fighting with this kind of defensive work, then he will be knocked out against a stong guy.

I studied boxing myself in the States and I also know how they teach in Russia. You can't even compare two. In the States they don't teach boxing shit, they just blow each other's faces on the ring. I am talking about amateur boxing clubs. American coaches don't talk about technique, boxing strategies, anyway, just common boxing skills for god sake. Golden Gloves sucks, the level there is pathetically weak. All Russian boxers who studied in Russia and then moved to US, always win Golden Gloves.

Here is another great victory of the Russian Boxing school. Cuban's team is the only one to compete with the Russians. American Olimpic boxing school is very weak. There are always one or two good coaches out there, but the school itself degraded a while back. American Olimpic boxing school doesn't teach or nurture boxers, instead, they rely only on natural talents , primarily on talented Afro-American kids. Past couple of years proved my point. American team has been losing to Russians 9 to 1.
