i agree in the respect that many Muslims feel extremely threatened. i am a Muslim, and oppose homosexuality, but I think we get too worked up, there are other greater sins as well. who would u rather be in the company of a homosexual, or a pimp/rapist/drug dealer? obviously, the latter are far worse characters.

i think we should pray for gay muslims that they may return to the right path, not wish death upon them. as i would pray that a pimp correct his ways, not choose to kill him.

I am a female straight muslim and I think that one can be homosextual and muslim at the same time. Why not? what shouldn't we respect other people( by we, I mean muslims).

i dont believe that to be true. then with that logic, a rapist can argue that Allah had intended for him to be that way, otherwise he would not exist. we know that these people (homosexuals, rapists) are people who have chosen to astray from the religion, and we should pray for them.

also, i do believe u can be gay and still practice the rest of the religion as a "good muslim" should... but we should not pick and choose for islam is clear in its stance regarding homosexuality (hint: its a sin!)
