@Popteart And I think that Columbus made it to America on ACCIDENT....he was trying to get to India....that why he called the people he found there Indians.....but now we know it was America, and call them Native Americans.
@shamsky4evr trust me, as someone who works in college, LOTS can't write a good paper. This was realistic. It's all about motivation. It's not hard to write a good paper. people just don't like the topic, get lazy, etc. Darlene wanted this so she was intrinsically motivated to work for it and do well.
@csrogc63 So did I. Not all scholarships are academic. There are such things as GRANTS given out to those who have exceeding literary talent. Mine came from an author native to my state who sponsored a program specifically for that kind of situation.
