As a patriotic American proud to serve the nation in uniform, I respectfully urge my political leaders in Congress to support the prompt withdrawal of all American military forces and bases from Iraq. Staying in Iraq will not work and is not worth the price. It is time for U.S. troops to come home.

The prayer that was read right before the church bells that went off was written by one Jew, one Muslim and one Christian...
(part one of 2 comments) loved te prayer so much. It reflects what RFK said 41 years ago. But we can perhaps remember-even if only for a time-that those who live with us are our brothers;that they share with is the same short moment of life;
that they seek-as we do-nothing but the chance to live out their lives in purpose & happiness, winning what satisfaction & fulfillment they can.Surely this bond of common faith, this bond of common goal,can begin to teach us something.Surely,we can learn,at least,to look at those around us as fellow men.And surely we can begin to work a little harder to bind up the wounds among us & to become in our own hearts brothers & countrymen once again."
