I love the thrill of taking off and landing :) i was on a flight from anchorage to ketchikan was visiting some family members.

Ok that was cool . I love take off's but I gotta ask. Whats the deal on electronic devices being on during takeoff? Alot of videos are posted on youtube showing takeoffs but the flight attendants never say anything about photo stuff so whats up. During takeoff are you allowed to film or is it a hush hush deal ???
